Called in here for coffee and cakeys Sunday afternoon. Decided to have apple pie and ice cream.....pastry on the pie to die for...would win bake off! Pleasant staff, lovely clean place. Worth the journey just for the apple pie alone.
Called in for a coffee whilst on a day out in Derbyshire. Attracted by the 1940s theme but sadly disappointed as this was nothing more than Glenn Miller playing and some are Union Jack bunting. The coffee was tasteless would not visit again.
went into this 1940s style café for lunch, the staff were very welcoming and friendly to us they all looked very clean and tidy although their aprons were more modern than 40s that did not distract from the 40s music that was playing and the...More

Food was okay, failed to put cheese in a panini, but bagels are nice.
Lots of drink choices (teas especially), café style food. Haven't see spam sandwich nor Bovril on many café choices these days, but it is a 1940's themed café.
Hadn't been to Matlock Bath for a few years and was a bit disappointed to find a lot of businesses had actually closed down, but pleased to find Puddin on the Ritz and its 40s wartime decor, love a bit of nostalgia and they've certainly done it...More
