Brilliant fresh haddock and chips they didn't charge us to sit in and put it on a plate with no extra charge. Young waitress explained that the chips are new potatoes not crispy but tasted delicious. I didn't think 25p was bad for a squeeze me sauce. I've been a repeat visitor for 10 years.

Was visiting the area and Matlock Bath has lots of fish and chips. All were busy but we chose Tuckers. They were also very busy but we were served quickly. The fish and chips were freshly cooked and very hot. Would definitely go back if we are in the area again

Had a Haddock and Chips here after a busy day in the town and was definitely worth the trip. For just £6.50 I managed to get a very fair sized portion of haddock amongst a good amount of chips too. It was also of good quality too as the batter was crispy and the fish rates fresh too. The chips... More

Brilliant chips, were cooked lovely and hot, and not greasy. They were that good we had to go and get a second portion later on.

We went on an educational trip to Matlock Bath with 72 children (7, 8 and 9 year olds). We pre ordered our meals and Tuckers were very accommodating of this. When we arrived there everything was ready and the staff were all really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. As for the food, it was delicious. I will definitely... More

I visited the shop with four very hungry children ranging from 3 -11 around closing time. The staff made us feel very welcome and at no time did they make us hurry. Despite it being a warm and late in the day all the staff looked happy to be there. The food was hot and well cooked. A big thank... More

Really gone downhill, chips are soggy and you're paying silly prices for tiny pots of beans. It used to be one of the best chip shops in Matlock but I will definitely go somewhere else from now on. Also 25p for a sachet of sauce...silly prices.

I come from the North East of Scotland where we have a reputation for some of the best fish and chips in the country. Tucker were advertising Scottish haddock with no skin which caught my eye. The fish was beautifully moist with lovely crunchy batter and the chips were excellent. All in all a lovely meal.

Called in for a coffee on a sunday afternoon. Served quickly by nice staff but the latte I had was awful. I didn't eat there but the food being served looked nice. I won't stop there for a coffee again.
