We stayed 4 nights at Lawlors as we was attending a birthday celebration which was held in the hotel. We had a family room for two if us which was good. The bedroom was basic but very clean. All staff are friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The barman made us sandwiches very late one night that were... More

Solo traveller, stayed in Dungarvan one night on a business trip. Asked for a quiet room, given a room (316) looking out on a busy road junction. 'Was concerned the room might be noisy, 'delighted to be proved wrong - double-glazed windows did their job and no traffic noise heard! Arrived at night, surprised to find a nice view of... More

We visited here on our holidays in Waterford as asked special treat we were told there steak was very nice. Not all of our party are big meat eaters so they had the chowder and vol a von instead. You can get an 8 ounce 10 ounce or 12 ounce fillets steak. Food very nice served by a very friendly... More

Had dinner at Lawlors on weekend of Sean Kelly cycle tour, which was a very busy wend. The service at the hotel was fantastic, friendly, efficient and the food was amazing and great value for money. We returned next day post cycle and found the same level of efficiency and friendliness. Small suggestion, liquid soap dispensers in the toilets would... More

An extensive carvery offers so much yet there is still another sandwich menu and salads available. Taking the carvery option you certainly wont be hungry, always a safe bet!

A bit hit and miss. Have had a really nice couple of meals followed by poor food on next 2 occasions so haven't been back. Not much atmosphere.

Called in with my mum for lunch. Was very busy but they let us sit near lounge. A gentleman bought our lunches out to us. Beautiful filling meal. As mum uses a walker/wheelchair the front access was a little tough with steps, but help was there. The staff were great, an old fashioned pub with charm
