We had a fantastic meal at the Tannery! I had the scallops and the rib-eye, both excellent. Others in our group had the monkfish and lamb for main and a very tasty pasta dish for starters. All empty plates by the end. We also had beautiful side dishes of veg, the parsnips and the mash being my favourite! All this... More

Just had a great night at the TANNERY. . The food is of the highest level and if you are looking for a good night out then this is the place to go. From the moment you arrive you are very well looked after. The staff are very attentive and help to make the night perfect.

After crap stay in nearby hotel, came here. Wow so nice, Paul Flynn on duty on pass as we entered, friendly attitude. Great service, from staff, crab creme brûlée, scallops, followed by steak and lamb, then chocolate and cheese board. Everything amazing. Wine great after dinner cocktail, fab. For quality well worth money, all we need now is find somewhere... More

Fantastic waiter, Serbian I think. I had venison special, superb. Others had 2 monkfish & 1 hake., very under-par. My starter was crab brûlée, lovely, the others all had scallops, @ €14/per, ok, but really? I obviously chose wisely, though accidentally. Very disappointed.

The building is old but the food is fresh and delicious. We had minestrone soup, that was filled with flavour, hot, and soothing. With the soup we ate chipotle toast, which is a bit spicy but complemented the soup. This is a great place to have a lunch, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere.

We had the Easy Evening option as it was the best value for money. It's an early bird menu essentially but it runs all evening from what I can recall. The delicious starter was the best part of the entire meal. The building is creatively decorated and holds many interesting art works.

Went there with my wife and two friends, the restaurant is super nice and the staff are super friendly, very attentive and professional. I had the smoked eel to start with, it wasn't very smoked and the portion was tiny and I mean tiny. Two mouthfuls and it was gone, that equates to €5.75 a bite. Saying that it tasted... More

Recently celebrated my 40 the birthday here. I couldn't have asked for more. The food was fantastic and suited everyone's palate, lovely wine and even better service. Marie was fantastic in accommodating everything in the planning stages and Daniel and the team were fantastic to deal with. Nothing was a problem Would highly recommend for a large group and the...
