Fantastically tasty

This restaurant provided us with amazingly tasty food and a great choice of wines. The service was fantastic too and we were there on a Friday night and had a great value menu to choose from.

Paul and his team provided a 2 day bespoke cookery and food presentation course for our team of very experienced corporate cabin crew. We stayed in the townhouse and dined in the restaurant. The whole experience was super, Paul clearly took on board everything we asked him to cover and we all took a lot from the course. In addition... More

I visited The Tannery on Saturday evening last with my parents and we were all very satisfied with our visit. From the moment we entered the premises to the time we left we were treated very well by the waiting staff and other members of staff with whom we came into contact. The restaurant had just reopened from the Christmas... More

Just visited that restaurant, and was disappointed, to say the least. I visited the restaurant three or four times before. The first time (5-6years ago?) was before Paul Flynn venture with Lidl. The food was fabulous, amazing actually for the value €30 midweek 3 courses. Every time after that , the quality went down. I think since Paul ( who... More

We walked in with no booking and were greeted warmly. If you haven't been there before, the Tannery is a lovely bright space, with light flooding in (at lunch time) and plenty of space. I guess the high ceilings might make for a bad acoustic on a busy night though. Starters, mains, 2 glasses of wine, 2 coffees and one... More

Though it's been a while since visiting the Tannery it was a nice experience. Food was absolutely excellent and very nicely arranged. Service was very professional. We were there for the early bird so the four of us ordered different meals and tasted eachothers dish. They were all excellent. Though we had 3 courses two of us weren't full when... More

This is an excellent restaurant. The food was fabulous, beautifully presented and all tasted great. The staff attentive and the environment is sophisticate sand understated. Might have liked a more extensive wine menu but... thats just a personal quibble. Really looking forward to going back soon.

Over a weekend we stayed in the Tannery Townhouses, attended the Tannery Cookery School and ate in the restaurant. Needless to say, we were in foodie heaven from the get go. I have attended a few cookery courses (mostly in Dublin) but these were not a patch on the Tannery- From choosing your own ingredients from the garden to the... More

We stayed for a birthday over the new year. It can be difficult to find as there are few signposts in Dungarvan. .Once we had found it and settled in the experience was excellent. There's was a very good welcome we got a quiet room in the townhouse. dInner that evening was excellent and very good value. One small thing was... More

For a post Christmas overnight we opted to go to The Tannery, Dungarvan, Co.Waterford and we were not disappointed. On arrival in the middle of "storm Frank "we were greeted by a lovely lady who checked us in early, and brought us across the road to our room in the townhouse, which I would have no problem recommending. Following an... More
