After Benvenuto Brunello we were in desperate need of some food to catch up with all the Sangiovese we tasted. As expected on such a busy day the wait was long but not too long. We tasted the bruschetta and Pinci. Pretty good.

This was recommended by a shop owner down the street. We were looking for good, local pasta and wine. It delivered on both counts. Service was good and food was served quickly.

We went to this restaurant on a cool late October evening. The place was cozy and the staff were attentive. We did not want a huge meal so we opted for an appetizer of Crostini Misii, skipped the pasta dish, and went to the secondi of Salsicce Con Fagioli (Tuscan sausage and beans). Because my wife and I like vegetables,... More

We went to this Osteria for a quick Lunch. We were not disappointed. Lovely atmosphere. Felt genuine Italian. My wife had freshly made local Mushroom soup and I had Pork Sausages and White beans in a tomato sauce. Both very good.

We went here based on these reviews, and the hotel. We ordered Tripe amd pasta. The pasta is extremely heavy with a blob of brown meat sauce...no flavor, no heat, no sauce. The tripe was unbeleiveably horrible! It was bright yellow and smelled like medicine. The taste was the texture of slimy crab, the flavor like numbing gel at a... More

Small place with a pretty traditional menu. Situated up near the Fortress. Good service. Reserving is a good idea. I had the panzanella salad and a pinci pasta with cherry tomatoes. My husband loved his rabbit dish. He would have sucked the bones if he could!

We stumbled into this little cute osteria during lunch time, by following the mouthwatering smell that filled the streets of Montalcino, and have to say we weren't disappointed. We started with the bruschetta mix which included toppings of: tomatoes, mixed mushrooms, tomato pure & caramilised onions. They weren't fancy looking but the taste was good. I then took the Lingua... More

We were walk-ins on a Thursday night and were given the last available table. The restaurant was packed. A good sign! Service was neat and the food was simple, but tasteful. A proper price-quality ratio. Food tip: the roasted rabbit.

Relaxed and informal, reasonably priced, rustic restaurant. No airs and graces, very tasty food (the bruschetta is simple but delicious), and good service. It is unpretentious, honest fare in a friendly atmosphere. Thoroughly recommended.

This place was recommended by a local winery. It was tucked into the mountainside and easy to find (albeit with directions). We were seated immediately and waited on promptly. Although there was only one waitress, she took our order and served refreshments quickly. The food was amazing. We ordered the fresh antipasti, panzanella but the highlight was the boar with...
