This was the third village we visited that day (after Montepulcino and Pienza) and had worked up a good appetite. We had been told that this was a great place to find good food so decided to stop in. Service was very good, didn't have to wait very long, meal was well prepared and tasty. There were six of us... More

The restaurant was busy , but the waitress went out of her way to help as we did not speak Italian. We had an amazing lunch and also did a wine tasting of 4 local reds which was great

Stumbled across this restaurant wandering through Montalcino. Lunch of Pinci w/tomatoes & basil and Cacio e Pepe was absolutely delicious. The other dishes we saw going out looked great as well. Would highly recommend.

A good place is to sit under the loggia on old wooden tables. Lunch here was tasty and good value. Service was attentive and helpful. it is on the main thoroughfare and easy to take it easy and watch everyone go by. I also have a particular liking for the Jack Vettriano pictures inside the restaurant.

We walked in because of the magnificent view through the restaurant's window towards val d'Orcia (I think). Ended up with a very good bottle of wine. Friendly and welcoming service, amazing place.

Hams, starters and local pasta were great. Caesar salad was a bit basic. Host/ owner was really helpful. Do not miss view from back window!

We just happened on this place while strolling around waiting for our hotel room to be ready. The owner and waiter were so very welcoming. The wine and bruschetta with Tuscan beans and kale was a wonderful introduction to our early lunch. I'm eager to return today to have their pinci with cheese and black pepper. Pinci pasta is a... We had the good fortune to explore Tuscany's restaurants for a week, and "Alle Logge" was so good we returned for a second meal. I had my favorite lunch there: the hand-made Pinci with Cacio cheese & black pepper, the stuff of dreams. Every restaurant in the region serves their version of Pinci (or Pici), but this place had the... More
