We visited the Enoteca Bacchus for lunch one afternoon in September 2016. We dined at approximately 2:00 pm and sat at one of their tables outside in the street. The servers were very prompt at setting up the table and taking our order, but sadly the food that we ordered was only "average" at best. There was no "zing" to... More

I have to say that this is the single worst meal I have ever had in my many years of traveling to Italy. With so many restaurants in the region offering hand-made pasta with delicious sauce, this place should be embarrassed to serve pasta out of a box with sauce that tastes worst than Prego from the supermarket. When I... More

Dined here twice on our last visit to Montalcino. One of several fine restaurants in town. Servers unusually friendly. Well priced.

The service was so rude that we even finished drinking a coke. It seems to have good products and the location appearance is good, but the boy and the man who seems to be the owners are so bad educated, that does not worth to try. They even thought that we did not understand what they were talking and were... More

Friendly but slow service. Tasty food. Expensive but delicious Brunello and Super Tuscan table wines. Nice location and music.

We enjoyed a relaxing lunch with our family. The tagliatelle pasta was very tasty. The grilled veggies and meat sampler was also delicious. A great place to enjoy good service and good moderate priced food.

It was quite hard to find an open restaurant around 4-5 pm. Bacchus was one of very few opened. The food was good, I ordered classic spaghetti with tomato souse and I did not have any complains about it. The service was good as well.

This establishment is staffed by the owner, his wife, their son and a lovely local lady who has worked with them for many years. We have visited Montalcino for many years ourselves and always have our evening snacks and wine here - the atmosphere is lovely and relaxed, whether you sit outside (warm evenings) or inside (air-conditioned for hot evenings... Lovely easy lunch with helpful staff. All children happily ate here. Wine tasting available and some good advice on what to try

It did not seem the food was made with love or pride. Both our pastas were overcooked and disappointing. Drop in for a glass of wine on the patio - if you're hungry go elsewhere.
