Small restaurant with great service, perfect whine selection and above all great food with good value for money. Sant'Angelo in Colle, a nice little, well restored village atmosphere. Reservation is needed as locals find the place as well!

On top of the Hill at the main town square you will easily find this trattoria and the bar. Nice local ambiance, tasty food accompanied with the delicious red wines from the around lands

Set on a hilltop in a quiet village boasting spectacular vineyard views, Il Leccio is the ideal place to spend hours enjoying a decadent lunch full of fresh pastas and plenty of local Brunello.

Enjoyed our meal here very much. Great service and interesting menu. We arrived approx 7:30 and the place was empty. By 8:30 it was completely filled with locals. House wine was delicious and reasonable. Dinner options very creative.

Visiting in November, this was still busy at Thursday lunchtime - always book ahead. Food is superb, deceptively straightforward, but based on handmade pasta. Beautiful medieval stone building. If there's a better place to go for lunch, I've yet to find it.

Just of the road from Montalcino to Grosetto, you would miss the village unless you were looking for it. However, you should make the effort to find this gem. Just make sure you book in advance. The Restaurant is small and relaxing thanks to the helpful and unhurried service. The food is delicious, fresh local products cooked as only the... More

Had a great lunch on beautiful day on piazza. The food was delicious. We had porcini flan, pasta with porcini and veal with porcini. We were inspired by man delivering a crate of fresh porcini as we sat down Extensive wine list, great service.. best lunch of our trip. Brest spot during day of wine tasting brucellos

Well worth the journey. Location is superb, and if you are lucky to visit on a warm evening, outside eating is recommended. best ever starter broccoli tart, melt in the mouth. Tiramisu was to die for.

In the main Piazza of the small village of Sant Angelo, Il Leccio is off the main tourist town route, but it was the culinary highlight of our trip. I think we just squeezed in at 8pm on a Thursday evening after ringing just a few minutes ahead. Like every other restaurant in the Montalcino district this was an Enoteca/Restaurant... More
