We visited this Restaurant on our first evening in Montalcino. We can just say it was an amazing experience. We took the recommended 4 course menu and the wine tasting menu and everything was delicious. The waiter was also very attending and funny. Overall a great experience. Clear recommendation.

We had a lovely lunch here. We started with the bruchetta which was delicious. Then one special artichoke ravioli with a cheese sauce that was great and one mushroom lasagna that was not good. Or was a quaint place for a lovely lunch. I think if you stick to the specials of the day you will be pleased.

This establishment is on the smaller side, and most tables are set for two. It is evident that locals frequent the restaurant often, as there appeared to be only one other table of English-speaking guests. The staff are delightful and make our experience wonderful. They were humorous and make us feel very comfortable. We have visited Italy about 6 times... More

We had one of our best meals in Italy here. The extensive menu is very reasonably priced and, apart from the obligatory pasta, there is plenty of choice. The game dishes are excellent, especially the guinea fowl, and the gelati was a great way to finish the meal.

Tiny place, reservations essential for dinner. Great owners and chef, funny personable waiter (Yuri). The pinci pasta with rocket and nettles was exceptional. We went for lunch, back for dinner.

This restaurant is in the city walls of Montalcino and can easily book up fast in the busier months. The family owned restaurant has been serving me excellent dishes for over 15 years. I love their Pici pasta dishes and everything is fresh. The wine list contains local producers with a very fair markup. This is a must visit destination... More

Above average meal of bruschetta (excellent), rabbit salad (good), truffle porcini ravioli (ok, but rather salty and devoid of truffle), and frozen cream desert (good). I left wondering about the number 1 rating they possessed at the time of our visit. I would not avoid, nor would I actively recommend given the number of other options. Not disappointed yet not... We had a very nice evening here. Their Florentina steak was just perfect and the Brunello riserva with it too...the service really good.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant and it was a winner. We got their last table (locals filled the other tables) and the owner was very accommodating. We had a great meal and a very fun time.
