Very good traditional Tuscan dishes , with a light feel to them, served in a nice old building downtown. Large portions, very good house wine by the glass.

What a fabulous meal we had at this very authentic Tuscan restaurant! The service was friendly, at the usual Tuscan "slow food" pace (which we find relaxing and enjoyable). The place itself is charming, the food was divine to the last morsel, and the wine--well,...it's Montalcino, so the Brunello was sublime! Every part of the menu was top-notch, and we ate from atipasto to dolce and apperitif! We shall definitely return!More
We have lived in Italy for a few years now and our New Year’s Day lunch here was one of the best meals we have eaten since we moved here. The restaurant is small and cozy and the welcome warm and attentive. We came to...Montalcino to have the cinghiale (wild boar) dishes and they didn’t disappoint, the desserts were also delicious and beautifully presented, much better then the usual Tuscan basic approach. Again thanks to Antonio and Roberta. Bravissimo!!!More
"Call for reservations first, but go there! The food was amazing 💯. I'm a huge fan of eggplant parmesan (parmigiana di melanzane) --but my wife isn't. She said that this was the first one she loved ♥️♥️. The wine glasses made my hands look small...(check my picture). The staff treated us like the kind of family that you want to hang out with. The decorations and ambiance inside was perfetto. Thank you so much for having us & our two baby puppies (in the stroller)."More
We eat here every time we return to Montalcino (which is a lot) and love it every time. Antonio who works front of house is just great, very friendly, speaks great English if you need it, and very knowledgeable about local wines. As for food,...I find myself dreaming about the Tagliolini con Ortiche at night sometimes....it’s just fantastic, and consistently great every time we order it. Also had a great antipasto, and we shared a main course (which must be huge, judging by how big the ‘shared’ portions were), which was excellent. Make reservations for sure.More
Such a wonderful experience here. The owner is super friendly. Service is great and the food was outstanding. We found it very comfy and romantic as well. The desserts are very yummy and have beautiful presentation. Pasta meals were very good
Lovely host, tasty traditional food & cozy location. We had the Roberta’s choice, vegetarian set menu, tagliolini in salsa & a special pomodoro tagliolini for my daughter. Loved the variety, in particular the vegetable dishes & desserts were delicious.
Compliments to the chef! My husband enjoyed the yummy taste of the traditional Florence steak “Bistecca alla Fiorentina” and I enjoyed their lasagna with porcini mushroom “pasticcio ai funghi porcino” - the yummiest I ever tasted. During the dinner, it’s not a surprise that the...tables are occupied, it indeed can tell that their food are delicious.More
We found this little place nestled in Montalcino. We were greeted by the owner Antonio and his friendly staff, the food here is authentic Tuscan cuisine, traditional yet amazing. To think that it was recommended by another restaurant owner, this is an indication that the...food is phenomenal. I Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that is remotely interested in delicious cuisine. You will not be disappointed ! P.S very friendly, prompt service and beautiful people : )More
This place is a real find! The very traditional Tuscan dishes served here are stunning, in particular the wild boar stew which is the best I've ever tasted. When coupled with a bottle from their meticulously collected wine list, featuring et al a range of...superb Brunellos, they produced the very best meal of our recent Tuscan holiday.More
