We spent two weeks in Isola Rossa, and we ended up eating most of our dinners in this restaurant. Service was great! Even if the place was crowded, we felt that we were given full attention. The owner managed his staff in a great way, and he seemed to have a complete overview of every table. He kept calm and... More

On a very hot night it was a pleasure to sit out on the pavement by the tree and watch the boats come & go in the marina. We speak English and were understood by the person taking the order. My food was very good as was my husbands, but the children felt their food was bland- it could be... More

We don't mind plastic chairs and plastic tables, this restaurant is more or less 'on' the seafront, under a canapee. What you find in most small seaside villages. But what we DO mind is the total lack of service and friendliness from the staff. We have never experienced our plates being removed before we had time to put our cutlery... More

This restaurant is right at the sea front and seems to straddle both sides of the road. It opens in the evening at 19:30 and may need a little time after that to get themselves sorted. My partner and I both ordered the Veal escalopes in a white wine sauce. Delicious! Service was excellent if maybe just a tad over... More

Cheap plastic chairs and tables, tasteless food, normal service. You sit at the road and you chew dry seafood under sympathizing views of passersby.

We really enjoyed our meal here. We were there for a quiet lunch in May (off-season) and enjoyed a delicious variety of seafood dishes - a wonderful collection of mollusks in a tomato broth, grilled calamari and a few pasta dishes. Everyone loved the food and the service was very good. I would definitely go here again!

We got to this restaurant during our holiday. Were "looked after" by a lady in her mid 40s, wasn't the best service. Ordered Grilled Orata(sea bream)and calamari-came in metal dish with an iceberg leaf decoration-very,very poor. I asked for 2 salads as we eat a lot of salad-apparently ,despite all the vegetables that Sardinia i blessed to have at the... More

The view and outside seating area are probably the least appealing of any of the restaurants in Isola Rossa (of the 5 we tried in town), but the food was pretty good! The staff were quite rude and just rushed the plates on and off the table without any care or personal approach at all.

It was the 15th august (public holiday in Italy), probably the busiest day in the Italian peak season so they can have some excuse. however it took almost one hour to get the starters served. I got the "bottarga" (fish eggs) served with butter nuts and one lettuce leaf, it was almost edible. My girlfriend got the grilled prawns, definitely... More

It seem from the previous reviews that you either love this place or hate it! We liked it. Having had a rough sail across from Menorca we were pretty hungry by the time we got to Isola Rossa and, in late May, the place was very quiet with the restaurants all but empty. We chose Da Michele for the views... More
