We stopped by here regularly on our recent trip to the Amalfi Coast. All the bars in the beautiful square are good but this one is exceptional. Always, service with a smile and a genuine desire to make you have an enjoyable experience. Oh to be sitting there now with a cool Prosecco!!! ..........

Visited this snack bar for a quick lunch turned out to be a bad idea. It took more than 30 minutes from ordering to actually being served. Ordinary food.

We spent 7 days in Atrani, a truly amazing place thanks in part to its physical beauty and proximity to the likes Amalfi and Ravello. But what makes it truly special are the people we encountered there, and Bar Birecto was our headquarters. Salvatore greeted us warmly the very first time we straggled through the piazza, offering advice about the... More

We dropped here a few times for a beer or Aperol spritz on our treks between Amalfi and our hotel in Castiglione. Very friendly staff, quick service. Watch the passing a parade and chat to neighboring tables. Ask Luigi about rowing for Amalfi.

Situated right in the main square in Atrani, it's a great place to have a mid afternoon snack and drink. The owners are friendly and are helpful in giving directions and helpful hints to tourists. The food is decent and you will be among the locals.

What a server! Few are able to pass without his charisma drawing you in to be seated amongst the locals in an informal yet incredibly efficient little Bar. Despite having dined in many of the restaurants in the square the food at Birecto was outstanding. Seafood was fantastic as was the local lasagne. I can't believe there have been so... More

Stopped here for a few drinks while our partners went shopping, then stayed on for a quick bite to eat. Good beers and lovely home-cooked food. The pastas were delicious and the staff very friendly. Came for breakfast the next morning and had good omelettes and probably the best coffee in Italy so far. Highly recommended.

Had wonderful afternoons eating & drinking here. Excellent pricing compared to expensive Amalfi and enjoyed being recognized every day in the Piazza, made us feel like a local. Beer was cheap & cold, food fast & fresh and of generous portions. Does not serve dinner but bar open till about 8pm.
