Myself and my wife were fortunate to come across Food Gate by accident but it turned out to be the best accident we ever had!
Giannis the Proprietor is a pure gentleman. In between catering for a non-stop takeaway service - with the delivery lads flat out on their mopeds - he cooks brilliant food at local prices. Word of warning though! Make sure you're ready for plenty on your plate and up for a chat when you visit because you'll get plenty of both!
Couldn't recommend the Proprietor or the food high enough! Hope to return.

The burgers here are an absolute must have while visiting in Rhodes. Ingredients are so fresh and there are so many delicious options. It’s family friendly, and the chef is fantastic. Don’t miss out on this place!

We ordered 4 burgers and 2 fries with cheese sauce.
Besides it took an hour and ten minutes to order the food was bad.
The buns were dry.
The burgers were unsalted and unseasoned.
The cheese sauce was a béchamel with minimal cheese and some bacon, it didn't taste cheesy at all.
On the Mississippi burger the bbq sauce was overflowing out of the wrapping paper and it was like eating the sauce straight out of the can.

Ate here with my partner and two kids a couple of times as we were staying at panorama hotel.
Staff were amazing and so great with the kids . One guy even went and got donuts for our youngest just as a kind gesture 😊. The food is amazing , I had burgers and I have to say I have not tasted a better one ever . If your in Rhodes, seek these guys out , there concept takeaway design is funky , and you get free WiFi.

It's a Fast Food bar in Rhodes town 20 minutes walk outside the old town walls, near the Hotel Panorama.
While the restaurants and businesses of the Old Town have to me very assertive to get business, not so here where the Rhodes residents live.
The foods is very good quality, has a good range and is VERY good value for money. It's generous too and made with care.
It's very friendly and we were back on more than one occasion.
Great.
