Tasty food, great service, friendly family owned restaurant. Lots of local guests. Take a taxi there. They don't accept credit cards but the owner will happily transport you to the nearest atm on his moped. Recommended!

If you like authentic food in traditional surroundings, you'll love To Steno. It's no-frills and unassuming but totally family-run, extremely friendly (they opened especially for us!) and perfect if you're after traditional platters. It's a walk out of the old town but is totally worth it. Very warm service and worth every euro, but you won't need many --- it's... More

We ate here both nights while I'm Rhodes. Absolutely fresh, delicious and very affordable place. The staff (all family) are very accommodating and beyond friendly. The place is tucked away on a quiet, unassuming street. There is an outdoor corridor that is perfect for a long summer night dinner.

We have been here twice. The first time on our day of arrival in Rhodes. We were looking for a restaurant to have lunch close to our apartment. We were in a hurry because our little child (1 year and a half) was already hungry. When we arrived we realised it was closed, but the lady that was on the... More

We were there in the summer of 2015 and we ate at many restaurants. This one was, by far, the best. It was recommended by a friend and now we can recommend it. Eleven of us sat out on the patio and had a marvellous meal that seemed to never end. We would absolutely go back to To Steno and... More

This place, tucked away a ten-minute walk up from the Old Town walls, has been a gem for many years. It may be hard to find but it's worth the effort. Home-cooked food is served in a small courtyard by the family who run the restaurant. There are no gimmicks, just good, fresh food and friendly, efficient service.

We were only in Rhodes for two nights and enjoyed To Steno so much our first night that we returned for the second night. Be... More
