Went here for our first lunch upon arriving at Eli beach. There's terraced seating overlooking the beach and sea. It's a simple no frills genuine greek restaurant so don't expect glitz and glamour rather basic, genuine and friendly.

We were staying at the nearby Cook's Club hotel and came to Meltemi on our last night. We had been to some really nice restauarants in the old town and harbour on previous nights and wanted something a little simpler and traditional. When we looked...through the menu at Meltemi, it was everything we wanted; dolmades, calarmari, prawns, eggplant saganaki, tsasiki etc. It's not flashy or modern place and the generator kept cutting out leaving us to eat by candlelight but the food was so good we didn't care at all. We over ordered but finished pretty much everything as it was too good to leave. It was perfect for what we were looking for that night - no frills greek food done well. Would recommend.More

Poor service and nothing special. Prices to high for the quality and service. Not to recommend as there are many better places.

Loved it. Relaxing place on the beach with a polite staff, fresh salads, wonderful meze and fresh fish. Enjoyed it immensely.

we celebrated our Ruby wedding at this restaurant. Food wonderful traditional greek cuisine overlooking the beach, as the sun went down. Staff attentive, and helpful. Place set out with distance between tables, and it was obviously a place that Greek families of different generations come...to share together.. they catered well for all. Would definitely recommend.More

Beautiful seafood overlooking the beach - the restaurant has a traditional and authentic feel and is not pretentious in any way. I had the shrimp with metaxa in a cream sauce which was heavenly. I have since been back three times in the past two...days as the food is so tempting. An absolute gem of a place.More

We were in Rhodes for a week’s holiday and wanted a relaxing dinner at a local restaurant. Our hotel (Kokkini Porta Rosa) recommended Meltemi. It’s located about 800m from St Paul’s Gate outside the Old Town and on the seaside. Delicious Greek food and affordable...priced. We chose for dinner 5 dishes - pork tenderloin with grilled vegetables, fried small fish, Taramasalata, Greek salad, and Dolmades (grape leaves with rice and meat) - and with beer the bill came to under €60 for 2. Warm service and all hygienic steps in place to keep us all safe. Well recommended.More

The best one on Elli beach by far. A casual seaside diner, or just simply for coffee, drinks or snacks, ideally located. Open all day, every day. Sun beds at five Euro's, a changing hut and a shower. Toilet facilities inside, very clean. I had one...of the tastiest Greek salads here, of all my stay in Rhodes. Friendly, helpful staff and very efficient. Definitely recommended.More
