We had an excellent dinner under the grape arbor at Nireas in a quiet square in Rhodes old town. They were very busy, but the owner took the time to come out and greet everyone. It has a very relaxed atmosphere with a wandering troubadour and good food. the saganaki (fried cheese)was a bit disappointing, but all else was delicious!... More

We had salad, crab cakes, baby shrimp large fresh fish and panacota. Crab cakes were too salty for me, panacota was bland. Everything else was prepared to perfection and delicious. I recommend. Big groups must call ahead since not a lot tables are available. Definitely recommended.

Great traditional seafood in a charming setting. It was a great place to eat out on our final evening in Rhodes Old Town. The only downsides were a very limited children's menu and we were told we couldn't have the grilled vegetables for 2 because there were too many grilled fish orders going into the kitchen, so settled for a... The food is good but the service needs improvement! The Nireas salad is recommended for 2 but is enough only for 1. They do not have "pita bread" which is a must for every respectable Greek restaurant. They did not have fresh orange juice - it was finished. A fish plateau for 2 was enough for 1. However the quality... More

It has been a year since my visit, so I thought it was time to write my review. I had a great lunch and wonderful dinner at this restaurant, located in Old Town. A bit tricky to find, but the better to be away from the tourist trap places. Do yourself a favor and visit this great restaurant. In one... More

Description
Beautiful alfresco setting. Tucked away in a quiet square off the beaten track. Dine on fresh seafood and fresh vegetables (many of them organic) under a pergola overflowing with jasmine, honeysuckle, Bougainville and a 25 year old grapevine. The Tsikis Family is always happy to meet new guest and welcome back many return customers ( some that have been coming since the opening in 1989)!
