Traditional Greek cuisine. Good quality, cheaper than other places in Milos. Very slow service; we were served our main courses more than one hour and 20 minutes after we arrived. Overall an unpleasant experience.

Ate here a couple of times. Quite and more secluded location away from the main zoo Street. Standard fair reasonably priced. Our family of five cost about 60€ for dinner including wine and beer but no dessert.

What a pleasant spot to spend an evening. Everything we ate was delicious. It's not always easy to find plain green vegetables in Milos tavernas, and after a while it's what we crave most. Barko's green beans with a garlic sauce on the side hit the spot. Try the chickpea balls-so good and a specialty of the house that we... More

We were just stopping with the kids for a quick bite to eat and choose this central restaurant since it was on our way. It seemed very touristic and was in the middle of the touristic street. The food and the wine turned out to be really good in contrast to our expectations: both pizzas and omelettes were amazing and... More

Off the beaten track though on the start of the road leading up to Plaka, Barko (also called Barkos) is a pretty alternative to the waterside tavernas in the centre of Adamas and strung along the coast road as it runs away towards the airport. I must say that, on the basis of our visit, I do not recognise the... More

We had dinner here and even if the place looked really nice, we expected "fast food" style. The food was, however, fantastic. One of the best pizza's I had anywhere, the burger was also great and the omelette fantastic. Great red wine and very good service made this place my favourite in Adamos.

That was, by far, the worst restaurant i've been in Greece. It seems like the owner/waiter didn't want me there. I ordered a musaka, and my fianceè ordered a bacalhau (bacalao). She asked if the fish was cooked with vinegar. He laughed and act ironically. Then, he talked to a couple friend of him, that was sitting in front of... More

An awfull service and a terrible food. That was my experience in Taverna Barko, where the waiter treats tourists as idiots. I ordered a fried bacallao and I asked him if it comes with vinegar or onion, because I don't eat them. After he answered me, I felt he made a joke of me with a greek couple that was... More

We had dinner here and the food was ok. Nice peaceful atmosphere away from the hub-bub of the port. Waiter acted as if he was doing us a favor by waiting on us. After dinner, we asked for the check which he brought us. Tradtionally in Greece, the will give you something afterwards. We noticed a couple whom he was... More
