The building of Centro Porto, was rebuilt in 1946 into a home, and in 2004, with the help of Dimitris Economou (Decorator) was transformed into a Cafe-Bar-Restaurant with modern atmosphere and contemporary design. An All Day dining, coffee and entertainment venue, meeting point for friends and acquaintances. The delicious coffee, the fresh homemade desserts, the clean drink, the good prices as well as its unique location, overlooking the Port and the bridge of Rio-Antirio, are the ones that make it unique. Events are continuously organized, which fully satisfy the clients of Centro Porto, since they cover all the tastes and musical styles.

Classy harbour-side cafe/restaurant

Very classy restaurant/cafe right on the harbour. We had hoped to sit outside but the weather was too wet and windy for us, even under the parasols and awnings under which the hardy locals were clustered, sipping coffees. Fortunately there is a lovely indoor seating area on the first floor which offers fab views combined with comfortable chairs and a great ambiance. The carpaccio starter was exquisite, a fabulous coalition of flavours to set the taste buds tingling. Grilled chicken breasts were just a touch overcooked but tasty nonetheless, grilled veggies and wedges both excellent. Note that the lunch menu is much shorter than the one on the website so our plans to try a prawn starter and Iberico pork steaks were scuppered, but there was still a fair bit of choice. And we were gifted lovely, wobbly panna cotta & fruit puds to finish off. Just wish we were staying in town long enough to visit again.

Great location and excellent food

We went in Oct and the weather wasn't great although we wanted to be outside. It turned out OK with the heat lamps. The service was great and we had really good meals - flank steak, risotto, chicken... We went back the next night. Their wine list is excellent, a good choice of Greek wines at very reasonable prices. Highly recommened.

I did not regret eating there

I went for a full moon in Nafpaktos and chose to have lunch at the restaurant. My experience will be unforgettable. I ordered a basil salad Halloumi, Glistrida, Almond, Pineapple, Lettuce, Tomato. The most delicious salad I have ever eaten. Perfect. Had to get another 5. Excellent on the salad 5/5. We ate the mushrooms it says on the menu and we liked them. Delicious. They put them in pizza style but ok, it didn't spoil me. The steak it says in the menu was delicious and I was even more blown away by the mash with the sauce. I would go again. Only one negative part and that's why I gave it 4/5. Cutlery in a gourmet restaurant but even in this style of restaurant, must be changed from plate to plate.

A location, delicious food, but slow, slow, slow, slow service

Great location overlooking the ancient harbour. Delicious food. However the service: we arrived at 13:30 asking for a table for four. Answer: lunch starts at 14:00. We only have the brunch menu now... Interesting commercial choice at a half empty terrace. We were served drinks and the ‘allowed’ to order from the lunch menu at 13:50. Then the waiting started.... As it is our 2nd 3 week holiday, we know you sometimes have to wait. We have however, also good experiences at good restaurants. Food served at a decent pace. It eventually took them 55 minutes to serve 3 of the 4 dishes. The 4th only arrived after everyone else had long finished their meal. As so often: an A location in a touristic hotspot makes some restaurants arrogant and/or sloppy....

A very good restaurant. Located at the end of the left side of the harbor, a small that leads to a wonderful and friendly place, the waitress was very nice and professional. The portion were big and prepared withe fresh ingredients. Recommended to sit at the second floor to have a good view of the little harbor.

Disappointing on all levels.

After two years we visited the shop again. It was a disappointing experience. Service very slow, staff serving with an indifference. But the big minus was the food. Everything we tried was tasteless and made by hand. The highlight was the spaghetti pasta which probably it was from the previous day.I don't recommend it….

Bad experience

Servers not at all welcoming. Value for money too high. We were outside in the rain then decided on our own to move inside. View on the wall while the view is superb. The waiter could have made an effort and welcomed us upstairs. Damage.

Lovely setting quality food

Great setting, quality food and wine. I had the salmon which was perfectly cooked, and was able to try a couple of wines before I chose. We sat overlooking the harbour and the staff were really friendly

Perfect spot for a high end meal

Had a lovely meal here - amazing scenery with great cocktails & wine list too. Food was exceptional, really high quality and a different level of dining experience to the traditional Greek meals we had whilst travelling (not that we had any complaints about those!) - it was really high end and well made, plus reasonably priced. We ate the pineapple burrata salad, iberico pork ribs (which were huge) and the sesame salmon. They weren’t too sure about allergens which is my only critique - I am gluten free and they kept offering to leave the dairy off… but I think it was a language barrier - after a couple of explanations I think we got there :)

Really mediterran Restaurant. Different to the thousends of taverns. We tried the brilliant mushrooms, very good flank steak medium with Beer Sauce and normal potatos, the very good big salad with cheese and orange pieces .... and the good wine. Good service. Many thanks.

It was difficult to find a table to eat there without reservation but we had the chance to get s corner table. Food was Mediterranean with a twist and was tasting very good. Service was very good. Ambience excellent, view excellent, service very good, prices ok.

Brunch and dinner spot

Love coming here. The location is ideal, right on the water in the main port. The brunch menu is good, but dinner is great. The food is gourmet, there’s a great wine list and the prices are excellent. You can sit and people watch while you dine, but reservations are recommended for bigger parties in the summer.
