A busy bistro that makes full use of its small space to deliver fresh choices. The fresh fish selections were updated on the board as soon as we ordered them, so the early bird gets the Turbot, so to speak. The turbot was quite excellent, by the way. Super choices for entrées and dessert too. Service at the table was... More

This place deserves a detailed review. Please allow me to explain. First, if you are within 100 KM of this place - you must make sure to visit! Probably the best Seafood Restaurant in the entire alps region - Grenoble, Chambery and surrounding areas. The ambience is a mix of modern decor with a patio that feels ancient and cozy.... More

I went with my in-laws to Le Provence. We had the cheap set menu which was utterly divine. Good, attentive service.

The hosts are charming. The hostess's knowledge of food and wines was extensive. The ambiance was lovely with lots of space between tables. The fish is totally fresh from that days catch. The fish is purchased from small independent fishing boats on the French Mediterranean coast. Large boats and commercial outfits are avoided. The Chef cooked the fish to perfection.... More

We had lunch outside and although it was full, the food came fast. Everything was really, really delicious. Great tastes for the fish and seafood and nice vegetables and light sauces with great aromas. well above average chef. worth a detour. Just outside town of Grenoble. a rewarding experience.

If you're visiting Grenoble on business and would like to try something special, I recommend Restaurant Le Provence. A short drive or taxi ride is well rewarded. I've been to this restaurant several times over the past couple of years in Spring and Summer seasons. The menu changes daily depending on the available selection of fresh fish. Whole fish is... Went to this place with a business collegue. It was summer so we chose to sit our back on the terassa, Restaurant was full and they had to arrange a table for us. The Menu choices were explained by the Chef himself. The food was great and so was the evening summer atmosphere. Will definately go back
