Good location near village square.Had omelette for lunch which was reasonable quality.Did not have desserts but coffees were excellent. As noted in other reviews the person who appears to be the owner has a somewhat brusque manner.Acceptable but not fine dining by any means.Serving staff were quite pleasant.

Called here for lunch I ordered fish and my partner steak ( medium rare). The waitress brought us both steak, although I said it was the wrong order I said I would have it anyway as I don't like to cause a fuss. What a mistake that was both steaks was as tough as old boots and the chips tasted... More

Worst food we had so far in France. Bread reminds cheap US one, rather then amazing French bakeries. Cesar salad with watery iceberg salad rather than Roman. It was just very low quality and probably worst touristic experience. Cranky waitress. Overpriced for what it was. Wouldn't come back ever.

Le Castrum in the main village square looked the place to be on a sunny week day at lunchtime. The two restaurants nearby were virtually empty but this place was buzzing. We grabbed the only table available and settled in to peruse the French/English menu. The "sandwiches" came in burger buns and the fries were more like sliced baked potatoes... More

We had one of each plat du jour: an omelette and a fish steamed in a bag with vegetables. Both were very good, and everyone around us who had the fish was also raving about the quality. Espressos were above average. No wonder locals were in this restaurant. We sat inside to avoid the smoke at the outdoor tables.

Stopped here for lunch maybe because of the beautiful location. In France somehow you expect the food to meet a minimum quality, not here. Average omelete, average chicken and terrible beef daube. Beautiful table cloth though.

We ended here, off season, in the middle of the afternoon looking for something sweet to eat. The host was attentive, the coffee was good, there were a lot of different tea-blends and the deserts were great. Though outside of lunch hours, they even prepared a cheese platter for one of us who preferred something savoury.

It was a nice low key restaurant. The waitress took her time explaining the menu. Both the tuna and the lamb were delicious but we were disappointed with the local beer that they served.

We enjoyed a lovely light meal at Le Castrum. Plenty of food but not so heavy as many other meals we have had in France. Service was very friendly and the restaurant was shady (it is hot!) and quiet - post tourist rush of the day.

As Le P'tit Gourmand was closed, we stumbled on this bistrot on the main square, expecting touristy food. We were pleasantly surprised with the simple but fresh and tasty food and really warm welcome from lovely staff. We went back again 2 days later and weren't disappointed
