Together with my wife & 2 friends we ate lunch at Le Caveau earlier in July while on a visit to Montreuil. The restaurant was very busy but we were able to find a table adjacent to the front entrance on the outside. A very hot day, the cold Loburg Lagers were a life saver! We all decided on omelettes,... We were here to watch our musician friends, who had been invited to play. We were a party of 15. Service was quick and efficient. I had the Welch, which is really just lots of cheese on top of a little bit of ham and bread. Tasty though and I really like cheese.

My pigeon French is awful, thankfully the waiters pigeon English was similar so we hit it off immediately. He was very welcoming and sorted us out. We sat outside in the evening sunshine and the place had a nice buzz about it. Popular with locals and very sociable. They do food but we can't comment on the quality it was... More

Visited this establishment for the second time. The food was excellent, as one would aspect, but the service was a bit slow due to the fact that the place was very busy with local peoples having lunch(always a good sign that the food is good). Not much else to ad from what I have said in my first review.

Very pleasant restaurant with a great buzz. A good choice of item son the menu and would suit any guest. Our meal was tasty but not particularly remarkable - but I can well understand why it is very popular with locals and regular visitors.

Le Caveau is clean, fun and serv s as a great place to start your holiday in Montreuil sur Mer. We always arrive, put our suitcases away and head to le Caveau for a thirst quenching drink to take to dust off our throats after driving to this lovely town. It's just on the market square so you can see... More

Sat in their downstairs cave. We were a large group and they managed very well serving us. Prices reasonable. Hardly haute cuisine but food very tasty. Super waitress.

This village is only an hours drive from Calais and also contains the Wine Societys shop in France. This Brasserie is ideal, located in the main town square with plenty of car parking available. Always busy with locals (a good sign) fairly short menu (with English translation) and excellent wine selection available. They have a cellar downstairs that provides additional... More
