BEST spot in Costa Rica! The tapas are to die for and the sangria is delicious. Ramon is the best chef around, hands down. I've traveled up and down the Nicoya Peninsula and can't find better. The seafood is as fresh as can be - on a lucky day it might even come from the tide pool out front! The... More

You can't go to Costa Rica and not try this restaurant. The service is really good and what about the food! Good quality food, it's a must!

We came back to Tapas again because it is good. Their sangria is excellent and you can't go wrong with anything on their menu. We highly recommend ordering anything that is accompanied by their tomato bread. Delicious! Warning: this is not a good restaurant for someone with mobility issues as the only entrance is up some very steep rough-hewn sand... More

We had a large group dinner here and it was perfect for sharing tapas and paella. They also have individual entrees as well. The atmosphere was wonderful and beautiful. But seriously, the food was great!

friendly service, tasty & fluffy tortilla, delicious paella, a bit too oily for the grilled vegetables, tuna tataki was fresh & perfectly sealed with tons of chives, mojito coconut & mojito passion fruit were really good the 2nd & 3rd time when we asked for more rhum because the 1st one was way too light. Price vs quality is very... More

From the parking lot a steep set of natural stairs lead to an incredible grass dome. great view of playa hermosa from any table the fried potatoes were amazing but the paella has to be the best in town.

Having grown up in Spain and most recently falling in love with Costa Rica, this was the best of both worlds. Great twist on some classic tapas (tortilla with chorizo and allioli). The shoestring fries that came with the steak were delicious! Great meal from start to finish.

Really nice atmosphere and food. Do be aware that many dishes are topped with Mayo and many, like me, may wish to have the dish without, witch they will accommodate. Nonetheless, excellent food and service on this corner of paradise.
