My family was in Santa Teresa for 1 week visiting from San Diego. Looking up trip advisor restaurant reviews i would see a lot of “this is the best restaurant in Santa Teresa.” We atelunch and dinner out for 7 days and dined at all...the most trendy and highest rated restaurants. Most were very good, and some were good but forgettable. On our last night I looked on Trip Advisor for Italian, and after reading that this restaurant has homemade pasta, we went here. It is a very casual restaurant with an intimate ambiance outdoors. A young husband and wife own the restaurant and they are also the servers. This is a family run restaurant with all homemade pasta/raviolis etc. Being a vegetarian I ordered the pear arugula salad, and spinach ricotta raviolis. They were delicious and so light that the raviolis literally melted in my mouth. My husband had the steak tenderloin and calamari, he absolutely loved how fresh and flavorful his food was. My son had potato filled raviolis with pesto which was very unique and delicious. The bread they serve is homemade and mouthwatering as well. With all this said we ate at all the best restaurants in Santa Teresa, but this one was our absolute FAVORITE hands down. Our only regret is that we didn’t find it sooner. The owners Luz and her husband Marco are so incredibly humble, and passionate about their homemade pasta and food. You can taste the love in their dishes. They did say they are closing in late august and relocating to Manzanilla and building a new restaurant. When we return this will be the first restaurant we go to. Thank you Luz and Marco for making our last night in Santa Teresa so memorable with your incredibly passionate and delicious food! We will follow you on IG to find your new restaurant.
