Best bakery in town. Definitely one of the best breakfasts I had in Costa Rica. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Santa Teresa and the area.

Excellent vibe. Delicious croissant, sandwiches, and in the afternoon pizza and pasta. Tried the 3 layer vegetarian sandwich and it was delicious. We also took the pizza it was super slim and dough made there. The Napolitano spaghetti was very tasty. Highly recommend this place....Just make sure you early as the croissant and some pastries finish and they don’t bake more.More

Trendy spot with all the comforts of DTLA. The avocado toast and spicy ahi tuna were both amazing! Love this place and would definitely recommend it. There can be a line so just be prepared or make a reservation. I would not get the bagels...here (I lived in NY for a bit so a hit of a bagel snob) otherwise I loved everything else! And great desserts!More

I was in Santa Teresa for 2 days and I came here twice. The food is wonderful! I am gluten free and have found it hard to give options in CR but they have GF pasta and bread options which is great. I ordered pesto...spaghetti, avocado toast and a frappe and everything was so tasty! Great atmosphere and service as well. Highly recommend if you visit. Hopefully I’ll be back one day!More

Be sure to visit local panaderías for a more authentic experience in Costa Rica. There is one a few steps away from The Bakery and you can find fresh made empanadas, fresh bread and delicious sandwiches. Anyway, about The Bakery: Visiting during COVID? Be sure...to bring your mask, it’s required for entry. A hand-sanitizing station is set up at the door. Great for a solo traveler or an entire family. Enjoyed a delicious London Fog, strawberry cheesecake, chocolate croissant, and mango/banana/pineapple smoothie over several days. They have an incredible selection of food choices from shakshuka, shawarma, to avocado toast and croissants with eggs! A must visit.More

It has a good variety of options for breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. The food is really good quality and it shows a nice display of everything. The service is great, and they have everything. It has that coffee shop ambient and feeling. Keep in...mind it is full of day, and you might have to wait in line. Definitely worth it!More

Yes you can walk from Tropico Latino to the Bakery. It is less than 1.5km, or a little less than a mile.
