Alma provides an intimate, friendly atmosphere in which to enjoy delicious and plentiful Asian offerings - whether it be sashimi, jumbo shrimp pad thai, or a selection of fresh fish dishes, they deliver quantity and quality. And don't forget to try their true Chilean Pisco Sour.

We like to go to Alma restaurant with friends and special ocations. They serve delicious cocktails and very tasty food. We also joined the Thursday "Sexy night" Party and had SO MUCH fun. The music was great. We will be back for sure!

Such a beautiful name wasted... what a frustration when NONE of the offerings of the night are fullfilled. They do not know how to make a mojito!!! I mean, terrible ...

The food and the cocktails were just amazing. The restaurant and newly built bar carry a great vibe out of the usual drunken type. The lounge atmosphere suited us nicely. Recommend the mojitos

We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and chef! So friendly and warm! A must try is the Peruvian ceviche! Absolutely the best, and so fresh. The Thai fish was absolutely amazing as well.

Dinner here was good but nothing outstanding. Nice location off the main road, and very friendly service.

We started of with the ceviche and wound up there a second night just for an appetizer because it was so good. Two ceviche options to choose from, depending on what you are in the mood for. Atmosphere is a bit trendy, we were not there late but I am betting it fills up pretty quick.

Sitting in the open air bar, grasshoppers singing in the evening as it quickly transcends from purple into a smooth darkness, landlord Rodrigo preparing the restaurant and bar decorations, putting out the pastel coloured lights and hooking up the portable loudspeaker to commence its’ soft calypso club beat filling the warm air. Sucking in the cold zest of the tropical... More

Had dinner at Alma yesterday and it was fantastic. I ordered Da Pork and it was the best piece of pork I ever had (big fan of baby back pork ribs and such). The bbq sauce was excellent, even if a little more sugary than necessary, as is often the case in Costa Rica. The service was very good. Great... More

Set back off the road a bit, this place is amazing! The chef/owner obviously takes pride in his work. The flavours as well as the presentation of the food was suburb. My wife had the pineapple boat stuffed with coconut rice and topped with seafood of all kinds. I had the seared tuna wrapped in seaweed and panko crumbs served... More
