We loved their food - especially the banana cake - but the service was really awful. They ignored us, turned their backs on us while we were trying to give our order and made us wait a very long time for our food. The equally-arrogant...owner of the cafe told us that if we didn't like it, we could leave without paying. So we did.More

Honestly so many good options including the banana bread french toast and the smoothie bowls. If we weren't already spending too much on all of the delicious food in Santa Teresa, we would have had breakfast there every day. Nice to sit outside and have...some fans blowing around. Decent prices, super fresh and quick service. Loved it.More

If you want to eat a breakfast by one of the best female chefs in Costa Rica this is the place. Fast friendly service with amazing portions and prices to go with it. One of the few places you can watch the monkeys play in...the trees while you eat. I stopped in for lunch after having an amazing breakfast and their pulled pork tacos are some of the best I’ve ever had.More

A must go-to! Everything is super fresh and delish! This place is on the north side of ST and so it's quieter- a big plus. There's no indoor dining tho there are plenty of shade trees so it was comfortable on a 95 degree day.

I found the veggie sandwich tasteless and expensive, but the “pinky” smoothie was delicious! Overall really cool vibe. I was a little disappointed about how much animal droppings were on the first table I tried to sit at and then the second bench I tried....I know we are in the jungle, but a little more attention to detail would really put this place over the top!More

This place is amazing ! Great hospitality great drinks, great food! The sangria was delicious. We had the shrimp curry and stewed beer sandwich. They were accommodating to make sure my curry was gluten free. We’re already planning to come back tomorrow!!

We came here more times than I can count for breakfast! Best dish was the egg, ham, avocado croissant - yummy! Definitely check this place out if you can :)

Not a bad place for coffee. Not the best I've had in Santa Teresa, but not bad at all. Can't review the food.

El Patio is our favorite cafe in the whole of Santa Teresa! Not only is the food delicious but the patio is a perfect place to hangout, have a coffee & watch the monkeys in the trees above! Juan & his team provide super friendly...local service, the Gaston sandwich is awesome, as is the smoothie with peanut butter! I will miss my mornings at El Patio when I leaveMore
