We went there for a late breakfast on our drive out of Hopkins . Place is clean and has a homely feel.
Portion sizes are huge and anything you order is tasty.
Family run place and very reasonable prices for the amount of food served....More
Best breakfast I had in Belize. Sumptuous French toast and fry jacks, special omelette and watermelon juice. Innies is the initials of the 7 children the mom had. I can’t remember her name but I remember her smile and welcoming heart as we talked to...her.More
What a wonderful place to enjoy local cuisine and excellent seafood. We had lunch there and it was absolutely spectacular. I had the sautéed shrimp with a salad and it was unbelievable. The shrimp and other meals were beyond believe and totally an expensive I’d...give it a five star. Make sure you visit this restaurant while you’re here because the entire menu is wonderful.More
We were lucky enough to have breakfast here twice during our stay. Fresh squeezed juices, omelette is light, fluffy and delicious and our dessert were the fry jacks that come with the meal. They are like our sopapillas so we asked for honey, even more...delicious. If you’re looking for a great breakfast at a very reasonable price, you won’t be disappointed!More
We had high hopes based on the reviews. Ordered T bone steak with rice and Stew Beans. Steak was tough and bland despite being smothered in sauce. Fish curry was likewise, bland. Not bad, but not extraordinary either. We've had several experiences in Hopkins with...drummers. Unfortunately the guys preforming at Innie's were just way too loud for the space (like dental drill loud). We had to request our order "to-go" after it had already been placed. Not sure if that affected the food prep or not.More
While we thought the atmosphere was chilly (not friendly folks) the food was worth the stop. Be sure to eat here at least once to try the traditional Garifuna food. We had the Hudutu and it was delicious - fish in a coconut broth with...mashed plantain. We were there on a Monday night when they had traditional drumming and dancing, which was interesting.More
There were 14 in our party so we made a reservation ahead of time. We selected this place because they had local drummers there that night. We arrived on time (6:30) and ordered drinks. They came out one or two at a time (our group...was the only one in the restaurant.) We ordered our food. 100 minutes later our food started to arrive. One...plate....at....a...time. Of course we couldn't all eat at the same time, so those who got their food first were finished before half of us even got started. I was number 11 of the 14 and my food was warm at best. The flavor was good.
Others came into the restaurant and sat down too, but then left when they were not served.
When we left we peaked into the kitchen. There was one woman cooking on one stove. Perhaps they shouldn't accept reservations for 14 at a time.More
We grabbed burgers for take away as we were waiting for our bus to Bocawina. They were quick to cook up very flavourful fish burgers with plaintain chips. The burgers were a bit small but better than others we’ve had in Belize. It was recommended...by 2 locals.More
