Fantastic food friendly staff. My wife and I shared sizzling chicken and beef rending, both of which were delicious, followed by fried ice cream which was a big hit with all. We will definitely be back. A must try.

Once again on our recent visit to Penang went to Living Room and saw Amy & Ben who were welcoming to us. How they remember sooo many faces I do not know. The food was beautiful and even my fussy daughter found something to eat which is a real feat. This restaurant is more than just a restaurant it is... More

It may be your "cliche" aussie-style expat hole in the wall cafe complete with Bruce and his guitar, but don't let that detract you from the tasty and delicious local food being served here. We would recommend any of the curries and noodle dishes. It is busy so show up early and be prepared to wait a bit for your... More

Read some great reviews about this place and expected great food, so was really disappointed. This is quite a rustic restaurant which looks good from outside because it has lots of lush plants and is situated beside a few nice restaurants. It is, however, not a really comfortable dining experience with old fold out wooden chairs. Was concerned that if... More

We had dinner twice at this location during our stay. The food was superb (Penang curry to die for). Did not have a bad meal or plate of food. Continually surprised and pleased with the quality of the food, the flavours and service. Ensure you try this restaurant if in Batu Ferringhi! It is not 'fine dining' but it is... More

Food was expensive and underwhelming. Ordered the fried noodles, which was too oily, and the fried rice which was uninteresting. Also ordered a soggy egg sandwich.

Owner and operator is truly something else! We visited during a busy period when a large number of staff were off because of a number of celebrations like Eid and Malaysian New Year. Her family and friends were the staff for the night...and what a great job they did! Food came out speedily and our glasses were never empty! Food... More
