Inexpensive foods and vast choices come welcoming the traveler here. Well organized and quite clean place for economy foods and drinks.

A great variety of cheap eats to suit everyone. The atmosphere is great. Plenty of tables and it's very fast. Right in the middle of the market stalls so you can start shopping stop and eat then continue with the shopping .

We have just returned from 7 nights in Penang and we miss the food at Long Beach already. No matter what your taste you will find something amazing to eat here. We ate here every night and had something different each night, usually two or three dishes each for less than $15 AUD. I would travel to Penang just to... More

Long Beach is a local food court were you can find a different food stile beside the local Malay food you have a choice to select the Chinese Japanese Korean Indian or sea food. Prices are very reasonable and suitable for for travelers with limited budget

There are plenty of tables here and the food is cheap and delicious. You can walk along all the stalls, make your choice and pay when it is cooked and brought to your table. Attentive drinks sellers will take your order and bring the drinks to your table. I recommend the prawns and for desert the strawberry pancakes.

Plenty of tables, I agree. However, quality of food was poor, to say the least. But being the only hawker centre around, not much of a choice, unless you head down to Gurney Drive Hawker centre or into Georgetown itself.

Loved the long beach cafe hawker centre. Lots of options, very cheap & delicious food. Doesn't open until 6pm & does get very busy. Order from a few different stalls, give your table number & then pay when they bring it over. Smaller portion sizes so order lots!

The Indian in the corner is the best in town, the noodles expensive-but-good, also Korean, Japanese and many other options.

Good mix of hawker stalls. Had local Malaysian cuisine and was not disappointed. Two adult meals for 30 MR, PIzza for the kids 16 MR, Pancakes for 10 MR or less. Choc banana roti and ice-cream a must have for 8 MR. Bottles of tiger 10 MR. Will be back :)

Description
Long Beach is a collection of street stalls surrounding the sitting area. It is located outside and offers many cuisines including Malaysian. In the area there are not so many restaurants offering Malay food so I thought it appropiate to add this 'restaurant' to the listings, although most would probably not class it as a conventional one!
