One of the beauties of this place is that you can choose a variety of cuisines. By 8pm the place is packed and you struggle to get a table. I have eaten here several times with different foods and it has always been good.

Long Beach is food court situated in Batu Ferringhi. The food court caters for all nationalities but is patronized predominantly by westerners who are staying in the many Hotels in the area. In my opinion, is the best food court on Penang Island. The food court is clean and the food is excellent. Well recommended.

This is the place to get stuck into the different types of foods available on Penang Island. Satay chicken sticks for the kids while you make up your mind what to try - it is all here.

We were told to avoid Batu Ferringhi area for authentic Malaysian food and to go elsewhere instead. But when the lovely staff at our hotel suggested that we go and give Long Beach a try we did not hesitate. It was definitely worth a visit. Being a Malaysian I can appreciate whether the food is good or eveb acceptable and... More

I spent several weeks in Penang, and ate there quite often The place was reasonably clean and tidy. and the service was quick and efficient. The food could be eaten there, or done up as a take away. My 2 favorites were the sizzling prawns, and the most delicious giant spring roles (2 made a meal for me). A variety... More

We love eating here! There's something for everyone, including the kids. Spring rolls are a must, but order early or risk missing out.

Find your table, order your food, tell them the table number, and when it arrives at the table you pay for it. There are loads of food places including Chinese, Indian, Western, Pizza, Japanese. Many tourist and locals eat here. You can feed a family of 4 (lots!) including drinks for around £20. Our kids loved it!

Description
Long Beach is a collection of street stalls surrounding the sitting area. It is located outside and offers many cuisines including Malaysian. In the area there are not so many restaurants offering Malay food so I thought it appropiate to add this 'restaurant' to the listings, although most would probably not class it as a conventional one!
