We were so delighted at Lillino in Lovedale, the olive tree-lined driveway, the warm wooden interior had vaulted ceilings, and the views out into the valley were spectacular. The service was outstanding, both of the wait-staff were attentive but not intrusive, and they knew the...menu and wine list very well. We tried recommendations and it was all super delicious and quite special. Thank you!More

Not only is Lilinos one of the best Italian restaurants in the Hunter Valley everything about it is wonderful. The menu is not expensive but everyone can find something delicious to eat. Luigi’s linguini is my favourite and I rarely order anything else. The desserts...are difficult to pass by. The view over the value is lovely, especially at sunset.More

Lunch here was very mediocre. The service was great, the view spectacular, but I went there expecting sensational italian food, what we had was "nice" but nothing to rave about. I've had much better. The servings are very small as well. The tagliatelle with osso...bucco was pretty dry and tasteless and the ravioli whilst edible, was very small serve and tasted bland. Pizza base was uncooked and doughy, not like typical italian pizzas (yes I've been to Italy several times) and the dessert was nothing to rave about. All in all, a pleasant lunch, but would not return. Plenty of better options in the Hunter Valley.More

We really enjoyed our dinner. We arrived there without a booking on our wedding anniversary as our dinner plans at another restaurant fell through and there was no where else available. Although booked out and very busy they helped us out. We sat outside and...watched the sunset over the vines along with the Kangaroos crossing the property. The restaurant dog was entertaining. We had the bruschetta, Fritto misto’ and Ravioli and finished with the tiramisu and coffee. Beautiful sunset with good Italian food.More

Totally loved Lillino’s. very authentic traditional style food packed with flavour. Perfectly cooked Fritto Misto (lightly dusted prawns and calamari, fried) served hot and tender, house made Tagliatelle Osso Bucco, melt in your mouth meat followed by King fish and Miso butter, what a delicious...combination and crispy skin. We ordered for one and it was served for us to share and courses spaced well not rushing us. We of course finished with Chef Miki’s own Tiramisu - sensational. Thank you Daniele and Miki for such a great night, couldn’t fault you. Lovely friendly and welcoming service, staff happy to please. We enjoyed ourselves so Much we forgot to take photos - that says something!More

We were looking forward to our dinner here as there were very good reviews. Perhaps the chef had a bad night but it was ok, nothing more. We ordered linguine to share as a first and a pizza to share for the main. Both dishes...arrived together which was odd. The linguine was lacking in flavour and if not for the chilli, the pizza would have been very bland. Overall very disappointing.More

We had dinner and ordered the Suckling Pig and Noona's ravioli . Both sounded really authentic and recommended but unfortunately were underwhelming The location and service was really lovely and I can imagine that enjoying pizza and a few wines outside for lunch would have...been a better option.More

This was our 3rd visit to Lillinos and we had returned because we were excited to take our friends for the first time. We reviewed the menu but fully intended to order a pizza until we were absolutely sold on the Kingfish with Miso and...Suckling Pig by our waitress. At $42 each, it was a real splurge! The fish was totally overcooked, dry and chewy and the evidence of miso was non existent. The pig was completely underwhelming and neither dish was worth any money. On the positive side, the waitress was attentive and lovely and the location perfect. My advice is to stick with the pizza!!More

My family are new locals to the area and have been getting out and trying lots of local restaurants. Lillino is one of our favourites. Luigi is passionate about his wine and food. The service is excellent. Last week we had a beautiful wood fired...pizza to start followed by 12 hour slow roasted pork. The wine (made by Luigi) was brilliant. Then of course we had limoncello to finish. Will become regulars. Thanks to the whole team. Best Regards from DominicMore

Children are very welcome, we are a family restaurant, we don’t have children menus but our food is very adaptable and we make half portions in all our pastas except for gnocchi and risotto.
