We stayed at Teju Açú but also ate in the restaurant many times. The moqueca is amazing and we really enjoyed all the dishes we tried including the interesting breakfast options. The hotel is also very nice with large spacious and comfortable rooms. As with most Noronha restaurants and accommodation, prices are high in comparison to other places in Brazil.

The food is delicious and beautifully presented - we had grilled wild prawns with pineapple on delicate funghi risotto, and a wonderful prawn risotto with truffle oil. The caipirinhas are not to be missed!

Teju Açu is not easy to find. Don't let the rough road approaching the restaurant turn you off. It's worth find it and making it all the way. The restaurant has that nice island look, the service is by far the friendliest and most informed, and the food is unique for the fresh ingredients, local flavors and superb presentation. Bravo... To my taste, this was the very best restaurant in the island. We shared an excellent steak tartar to start, then had the shrimp and white fish Moqueca for two. The desert was Romeu & Julieta petit gateau: to die for!

I was staying at the hotel where the restaurant is located and I was very well impressed and so, I decided to review it separately. Surprisingly, the menu also includes a lot of meat dishes... But, I tried only their fish, seafood and salad. All were excellent! Price was ok, assuming the quality. They could invest on a more diversified... More

The place was absolutely beautiful! The food was great, and the menu had some very interesting options. The only problem is that some of the food we wanted was unavailable

My wife and I went twice on a 3 day trip. Wonderful food and service. The chef really loves to see people happy and peaks out to see if you like the food. Cerviche was excellent as well.

The restaurant is very good. Of course, since you are on a rather remote island all the choices may not always be available (no lamb the week we were there for example) but what is available is prepared well, and the chef & staff take a great deal of pride in presentation, so everything looks great too. My partner was... More

The place is very nice. Good view from "Pico" and the restaurant is made of wood, very clean and well designed. There are kids menu. Food is detailed, very good taste and well prepared. Some local ingredients from Brazilian NE and local. Local waiters do their best. I've tried some "risoto" that was outstanding. Recommend for families or couples.

We made it to all of the recommended restaurants in FdN and this was one of, if not the, best. I think it may depend on what you order, but the ceviche is the best I've ever had and the island grilled fish was phenomena as was the petit gateau. The island is so remote and has so little water... More
