My husband and I stopped by to try some of their craft beers and were so impressed! The selection is massive for the island... we did not see any restaurant in our 2 weeks in the Yucatan or QR which had such a large number of beers! They are not comparatively cheap (some as high as 80 pesos), but it's... More

March 2015 FOOD: Excellent! This was our favorite eating place in Holbox. During 2 week trip there we went many times to Pura Vida. We had different sushi plates there and it was the best sushi I have ever eaten. And I don´t even like sushi that much! Food was fresh and nicely presented. We still miss that food. SERVICE:... This place had good sushi with a twist. We had a roll with beef in it. The sushi was great and we were able to sit outside right on the main street in front of the square. Service was good and we even found some craft beer here.

Pura Vida is where the "cool kids" go for amazing food and drinks. I had a ginger bass fillet one time, sushi rolls the next time, teriyaki chicken the time after that. Each meal exceeded my expectations. The beers are ice cold and Miriam will make you the best version of your favorite drink. The owner and chef of Pura... More

We've been to the Beer Boxes that are around Mexico (usually in bigger cities). The selection here blows all of four or five of those we've found out of the water, combined. She had something like 7 or 8 different IPAs alone, all made in Mexico, and most of which were very good. Aside from just having them, she speaks... More

They have a great range of Mexican craft beers which can be enjoyed as you watch the goings on in the square. Food? With beer like this who needs it ?

We stopped to have sushi, but it was not my favorite. I do not know how the other food is in comparison. They have a varied menu including sraek. The service was very good as were the drinks. Try it you may like something else.

It was rainy when my friend and I came to eat here, so there was only seating indoors. The chairs were either way too low for the table or the wooden stools were so high and uncomfortable. We really couldn't stay too long, but waited for our sushi which I was really excited about since I was a little tired... More

Just awful. Our host recommended the sushi at this place to us. I've never had such terrible food. We started with two orders of Nagiri for the table and after receiving it I canceled the rest of the food. I'm not one to be worried about raw seafood, but the way the octopus squished and oozed a bit I was... More
