I had the Camarones (Shrimps) Zapata Style and the were delicious! Nice Waiter but like always in Yucatan, you need time to eat, nothing goes fast which is ok in holiday😀

I love this place, and went several times during my 4-day stay on the island. It has the best margaritas I've ever had, great food (try the ceviche), nice staff, and good live music. I especially enjoyed stopping in to have a drink and a snack at the bar in the afternoon.

Had the guacamole & shrimp in a cream sauce - food was good, service fast and friendly. Nothing terribly memorable in either a good or bad way.

Lovely Holbox gem! Swinging bar seats and quaint atmosphere, including a kid friendly table with toys. We loved the mojitos and roasted peppers they serve like salsa. We ordered a seafood platter... big enough for a family, with too many ocean creatures to mention- some more desirable to eat than others! The ceviche was our favorite on the island. Don't... More

We ended up eating at Viva Zapata quite a few times. It looks like it's just a bar from the street, but there is a bunch of seating at the back. The staff was always friendly and they seemed eager to provide good service. The garlic shrimp are amazing! The grilled fish and vegetables, and beef fajitas were all really... More

This recommended restaurant came recommended and didn't disappoint. The guacamole here was delicious. The grilled fish with vegetables was so fresh - several thin slices covered with fresh vegetables and served with rice and a small salad. So good. Disappointed a bit with the chicken fajitas which are generally served on a sizzling platter. Very good service and very reasonable... More
