I can't decide what's better...the food, the views or the staff! I love this place. Not only is it perfect at sunset but the food is great. Awesome drinks as well! Don't miss this place!!

We had a very nice meal at Finca Agroecologica El Paraiso, also known at Rachel's Restaurante. One arrival one is treated to some of the nicest views in the Viñales area. The restaurant is mostly open-air so you have great views wherever seated. It is...a perfect place to enjoy a meal and watch the sunset over the mogotes. The food is so fresh with the produce all picked from on-site gardens the same day as served. The menu was fixed, but covered all options, and was far more than we could possibly eat. The price was very reasonable.More
This is a lovely place, well worth the walk up hill to get to the farm. We had good vegetarian food and coctails - "Cóctel Antiestrés" is yummy!
Well uts a place that one should not miss. Not only for the fantastic vieuw whilst there but the food was super delicious and service was excellent. One can feel that food was made with love. Everyting was super good from the soup till dessert....Big big thanks for the wonderfull lunch. All group loved it. ThanksMore
By any reckoning, this must be counted one of the best meals that we had in Cuba. It is (as the name suggests) basically a farm which serves food and we walked through the vegetable gardens to a table in an open terrace with beautiful...and expansive views of the Valle Dos Hermanos and the Mogotes beyond. First up, we were offered an Antistrés Cocktail, which was described in detail on a wall plaque, ending with the words “Ron opcional”, but we were not actually given the option…until the waiter returned moments later with a full bottle of rum which he plonked on the table to help ourselves. Next up came a delicious vegetable soup, and then plate after plate of fresh vegetables (some cooked, some cold) and salads, leading me to remark that although I wasn’t expecting a vegetarian lunch this was pretty good. And then the fish and meat dishes started arriving…all of them delicious. I really hope that they manage in some way to re-use the food that we left because there was far too much for just the two of us. Naturally, we declined a dessert – until we were told that it was Flan, which we couldn't resist, and in keeping with the rest of the meal it was one of the best that we’ve ever had.More
The food is delicious, the cocktails are great and the view is stunning! I would definitely recommend this place!
This gem of a restaurant is certainly off the beaten path but is definitely worth it. Upon arrival you will be welcomed by their expansive gardens and stunning vistas. We all got the menu of the day (15 cuc each) which was served family style...and included large plates of beef, pork, chicken and tuna, and well as many vegetables from the garden. In addition to dessert, the menu included a delicious anti-stress cocktail as well as bottled water throughout the lunch. We would have had coffee with dessert, however, they had no milk or cream (only a powdered creamer), so we passed. But that was the only down side of the experience.More
Food, price and view is spectacular! Walking thru the garden as you enter the restaurant is such an organic experience. Endless plates of delicious food, yummy juice, dessert & rum! Wish to come back during the sunset.
Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed the fresh ingredients and beautiful setting provided by the restaurant and walking around the lovely, well-kept grounds. This was the freshest food we had during our stay and the view was breathtaking. Don't miss the delicious "antistres" cocktail they...make - wonderful as is and even better with a pour out of the bottle of Havana Club that they generously provide. Worth the short trip from Havana and a refreshing contrast to being in the city.More
We have been here at the sunset - the view was amazing! We were 7 people and we ordered 5 sets - in the end we were completely full and couldn't eat more, so maybe order 1 for 2 ppl. Food overall was ok, nothing...extraordinary, though nothing bad in the same time. We liked the soup a lot. Meat was to salty in general, but good. Fish felt like a sardine from a can. They had one of the best specialty coctails we tried in Cuba - sort of pinacolada, but with different herbs, highly recommend it, if they have it! However, I do not recommend their Daiquiri - out of probably 10+ restaurants we visited in Cuba it was the worst one - small, flavourless and pretty much turned to water (melted) in a couple of minutes. The flan cake was out of this world! The best one we tried in Cuba. I'd recommend this place to enjoy the view in the first place.More
Take a cab, horse-drawn carriage or walk up to this place.....they served us family style some of the BEST food we had in ALL of Cuba. Farm to table....excellent meats, veggies (yeah, finally), flan - yummmmmmm and their special 'anti-stress' drink which we embellished with...rum (included). SERIOUSLY...great views, walk around the farm...and ENJOY the best meal in the country!More
Finca Agroecológica el Paraíso is a great place in Viñales for trying farm to table Cuban food. We got a very nice menu for 15 cucs. I was a little bit disappointed as I was expecting a guided visit though the farm but never got...it. The view to the valley is unique if you get a good spot.More
I went on a tour with Cuban Adventures and I can say with confidence, everyone of us on the tour enjoyed the experience of listening to the tour of their farm, sipping on their fresh anti-stress cocktail, having fresh food cooked with organically grown ingredients....Oh and their flan was amazing. One of the fully-grown man in our tour group finished a whole flan by himself. Rachel shared in a Q&A, the anti-stress cocktail recipe is: "es un juguo de piña con 5 plantas medicinal anis menta hierva buena albaca cana santa una pisca de leche de coco la miel la canela y la vitamina r ron obsional todo ecologico disculpe la demora y buen procvecho" In short: pineapple, coconut milk, basil, anise, cinnamon, lemongras, mint. (+ don't forget "Vitamin-R" aka rum)More
We had read a blog post that said this was a really great place to have dinner. We should have been wary when our Airbnb host was not all that excited about it, but I insisted on going. Very glad we took a taxi as...it was pretty far out, and uphill. The location is gorgeous. The farm is really cool and the view is spectacular. The lookout tower I had read about, however, was being repaired. We had a great view of the farm and valley from our table and when the wind blew it was comfortable. But the wind stopped for a while. So it was hot and the flies were pretty annoying. The dinner was fixed price—fried malanga, fried yucca, soup, rice, a variety of root vegetables and salad items, chicken, pork, fish and arroz congris. It also came with one pina colada (average low quality rum) and a bottle of water. Everything was fine, but really nothing special. I travel to Cuba a lot. This was typical creole food, of average quality. I have had much better. I’d only recommend it for the view.More
Exquisite scenery. The best we saw in Cuba. I felt terrible for leaving so much food, but there was honestly much too much (even as a big eater). Don't expect you will be getting fine dining, as it is honest farm food - which is...more my thing anyway. It was like visiting a Cuban family home! Also very good value for money. Really loved the experience. Thank you so much for the memories!More
