What Mr Whiteman has done with this place is absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere is homely and welcoming, the decor unique, and oozing with a rustic vibe in every nook and cranny. The food is fantastic, with such a variety of choices to suit even the most fussy of palates. Even geared for veggies and vegans, not to mention the gluten... More

My friend and I arrived for a 3 day visit to Porthmadog on the 16th November and were desperate for a bowl of warming soup. We came upon this quirky little cafe and were not disappointed with our home made soup and wonderful freshly baked bread. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we were delighted that they were... More

What a wonderful little place! From the selection of homemade treats to the stunning artist touches running through the cafe. This is a true gem within Porthmadog and one not to miss for your coffee and cake fix. Especially if you need to escape the rain. Can also fully recommend breakfast too! Even comes with a build your own kind... More

I moved here 4 years ago and have sampled most of the cafes in the area over the years and this is by far the best in my opinion. Fresh bread made daily on the premises and not a chip too be seen, much to my chip loving nieces disgust. Fresh sandwiches, jackets and all manner of lovely meals, not... More

So much to see in the quaint little cafe, we stopped for a brew and doughnut and a homemade veggie pie which was delicious. We then called for a take out before we made the 2hr trip home. again I purchased another delicious veggie pie and a fruit loaf. Both were great value for money and I'm so please that... More

The place is busy, and we had trouble getting a table. But all the food looked great. We had homity pie and soup, which were both excellent. I'd give the kids picnic box a miss though, the idea is good on paper but the content compared to what is on offer from the main menu is light and day. Everything... More

The best cafe in Porthmadog. Unique and bakes all its own products. Size is deceiving, as there are great seating areas in the rear of the cafe where you can relax and enjoy tea/coffee and cake or a luncheon, having placed your order at the front counter. They do however only accept cash.

Cozy, friendly, quirky, yummy, cool ! Could have spent ages there drinking coffee, reading the papers, people watching but Porthmadog is a lovely wee place so we ventured out again for some more sightseeing !
