Arrived very early to the town and this looked OK and importantly was open. Food arrived piping hot and plentiful. Was a bit expensive and prices for breakfast do include orange or tea. Not bad not brilliant. Cheap sausages.

Don't be fooled by the daytime "cafe" appearance of this lovely establishment. We arrived in the early evening and enjoyed a very good dining experience. We both enjoyed sirloin steak, superbly cooked exactly as requested, followed by very tasty home made fruit crumble. All washed down with a decent bottle of red wine. Staff were pleasant and friendly. Will certainly... More

Probably one of the worst places I went to have dinner. During my 5 days England trip it was definitely one of the worst food experiences. I didn't expect much since the English kitchen doesn't have the best reputation. But common. This was far worse than anything I expected. How can a (if he even was a chef) call himself... More

I would agree this feels more like a cafe than a restaurant but the service was friendly and efficient and the breakfast we had was excellent super bacon and eggs and lovely toast to commend especially we definitely recommend you give this place a try!

This is a cafe more than restaurant bit it was clean and nicely presented. Friendly service, a nice roast meal, 2 choices offered and good value for money. Would recommend.

We popped in without booking on a Saturday evening. The staff were very friendly and the food was very good. I'm unsure why there were so many notices on the walls and it would look far nicer without them ... but each to their own !!

We went here for a family dinner as we were staying in a hotel nearby on holiday. This restaurant is not good. It might be ok for a quick bite to eat if you're starving, perhaps. The fact it call itself a 'bistro' is really misleading. Its a caf. The food was cheap and low quality. Awful really.

Having stayed at the local Travelodge (which has no restaurant facilities ) the Grapevine was recommended to us. For a tradition 'full English' type breakfast, it is perfect, though you can also get other options if you wish - and at a reasonable price
