Sunday roast was OK but very very pricey. The roast potatoes let the lunch down a little otherwise was enjoyable. Don't think I would repeat Sunday lunch there because of the price.

On a recommendation we visited The William Bray last night and it was excellent. From the moment we walked in to when we left the staff could not have been more helpful. The menu was well-balanced; the wine list very good and the gin and tonics - amazing!! We will definitely be back and would recommend The William Bray....it's also... More

Some friends and I ate lunch here outside as it was a pretty garden setting and a lovely sunny day, but sadly that's where the lovely ended, our food was average, the service remiss and very very slow and we were charged for a bottle of wine rather than the glass my friend had. We haven't been before and I... More

Drove through the beautiful village and stopped to grab something to eat and drink. Asked about Gluten free, the girl behind the bar seemed to know what I was on about. Came to order and it all went to pot. Strange look from another barmaid. Food came very average would be a compliment. Walked into the bar for a second... More

Met at the William Bray for a couple of drinks. It was a glorious Summer evening so we opted to sit outside - who wouldn't! Although the pub was busy there was ample outdoor seating and lots of shade provided by parasols. A lovely place to spend a summer evening.

Lovely location. Food menu is limited and overpriced. Burger and chips £13, pretty ordinary, chips worse than McDonalds. You can get so much better at a London burger chain such as Honest Burgers. Decent selection of drinks. Staff young and a little clueless. Lacks real customer service, bit of a feeling of staff hanging out with their mates, music too... More

On Saturday we popped in for a quick drink, this is one of our local pubs. I asked for a scotch and ginger and a gin and tonic. The bill came to about £16.45, which nearly knocked me flat. I queried it and was shown the bill. They had used Monkey Gin to make the G&T and Glenfiddich for the... More

This place has impressed me again. Food was exceptional. The lobster and steak we ordered were both extremely good. I liked what they did with their G and T and discovered some new beers. Staff very friendly and attentive. Had a really good day out at the Bray and highly recommend a visit!

Drove past this pub a while ago and thought it looked lovely so I organised to meet some friends here for Sunday lunch. I booked a table however when we arrived we stood around awkwardly whilst the manger and waitress discussed where to put us. After a few minutes we sat at a nice table with a direct view in... More
