We stumbled on Humble Pie on a short visit to the Dales, and went back three times in the space of two days! The array of home baking, both savoury and sweet, was by far the best we found in four weeks in England. The...More

Love the food, a bit on the small side but a lovely ambiance. Everything fresh, homemade and good quality. Just needs high quality loose leaf tea and I’ll be living here.

Thank you - we're glad you enjoyed your visit. We are small but there is no where to go - and we just love Askrigg! So, give us a hint - what is your favourite loose leaf tea? Let's see what we can do :)

Such a lovely cafe, selling sweet and savory dishes. You can order to take away for a picnic. Staff very friendly and helpful. Go earlier in the day to get a choice before they sell out.

Popped in for a light lunch of tea, cappuccino, sausage rolls and cake. Brilliant! My wife said her parkin was the best she has had since her Mum died - high praise indeed. Very good warm sausage rolls and my flapjack was about perfect -...More

I was walking the Herriot Way with my son and popped in for lunch. What a find - a lovely little cafe, with a warm welcome and absolutely outstanding home-cooked food. Possibly the best quiche I’ve ever tasted, and cakes we took-out were excellent too....More
