Lovely olde worlde pub doing evening meals. I did not eat there but food being served appeared excellent quality. I saw that the pub is currently to let so I hope whoever takes it over keeps it much the same.
A rare find.
My wife and I had just concluded an arduous day's cycling around Hadrians Wall and couldn't have been more ready for delightful meal in Beer Garden......Seafood pie and Steak and Ale Pie.....the latter the best I've ever made acquaintance with !
