Great place to eat with wonderful views of the River Wye. Friendly staff. You will need to book as it is very popular with holiday makers and locals

We called into the Boat Inn whilst Kayaking down the River Wye - it was supposed to be for a quick pint and enjoyed it that much we ended up camping there for the night. Six of us were really looked after (particularly by Jade who had to put up with our demands/drunkenness) and the food was fantastic!

On both nights everything was brought out promptly and as ordered. My food was excellent on both nights and as far as I know there wasn't any complaints from anybody else.... More

This seems to be canoe central with good facilities on the river Wye and plenty of canoers at the bar. We were impressed by the food, which was all freshly made on the premises from good ingredients. There is a menu with plenty of choice and the helpings are hearty. We sat outside on a terrace overlooking the river and... More

Enjoyed the lovely views of the River Wye ,whilst having a very good meal. Would have appreciated a less intrusive musical background.

The visited the Boat Inn on 26th April after a canoe paddle down the River Wye from Glasbury. There were ten of us for an early evening meal. The menu was interesting with a wide choice of meals. Top marks for serving the whole party so that we all ate together, well cooked hot food. The staff were welcoming and... More

We were camping locally and thought we'd eat here as we had been before and thoroughly enjoyed it. We hadn't booked but were told that as there were only two of us then there was space. Unfortunately as we were putting up the tent we had been caught in a rain shower and were a little soggy, but quickly drying.... More
