We recently had Sunday lunch at the Robin Hood with friends who visit this pub often. The food was delicious, plentiful and hot and service was quick and efficient. The staff are very friendly and attentive. There is a varied and reasonably priced menu. We will definitely be returning. It's worth booking for a Sunday as this is a very... More

Having decided to walk near Icklesham, a pub lunch was in order. The Robin Hood was the first to be found upon arriving in the town and I am so glad the stop was made. This pub is quirky, gorgeous, fun... and that's just the amazing interior decorating! The food was delicious, very reasonably priced and with wonderful healthy options... More

We were invited to the Robin Hood for a birthday party - and in the many years of driving and walking past the Robin Hood, this was the first time we went. It most certainly won't be the last! The party was terrific - a really great buffet with plenty of food! They didn't run out of anything, provided plenty... More

After a gap of a few months, I brought a friend here for a lunchtime meal. He can be a difficult man to please, hence my choice of venue. We were not disappointed, simply delighted in all aspects. The food was hot, promptly served and as always plentiful and tasty. The quality here is unchanging as all food is prepared... More

A delicious and plentiful buffet for 50+ guests and everyone enjoyed the food. We were in the large room at the back, which was perfect. All the staff were helpful, attentive and kind. Highly recommend for a relaxed family event. We all felt very welcome.

Today I was invited to a wonderful 80th birthday party in this charming pub. Strangely enough it is not five minutes from my home where I have lived for 39 years and yet this was my first visit to the Robin Hood. The food was a beautifully displayed buffet, with generous portions of tempting delicacies. The cold meats, and prawns,... More

I visited this pub for a quiet drink with friends. The decor was outdated and claustrophobic. The service was hit and miss, depending on who was behind the bar. During our visit, the staff and obvious regulars seemed more concerned with bad mouthing a resident of the village who was not present - their behaviour was very off putting and... More

We found this whilst travelling home, and what a great find it was! Lovely cosy pub with a beautiful fire (which we were lucky enough to sit next to!) The food was lovely and reasonable priced, especially for the large portions you got! Would definitely recommended and will visit again when we are over that way.
