Great family village/community pub. Good home cooked food. Children and dog friendly. Great stop off location for walkers !

pleasant surroundings,chatty staff,tasty,hot food in decent portions. Not a huge choice of menu but good enough for an evening out with friends.Very good value and a slick bar service!

Always visited this pub while in the area, varying landlords, last year we went and had the most fantastic experience with a lady owner/chef! Sadly she's no longer there, the place is dreadful, not clean, no atmosphere and odd opening hours! Give it a miss...More
Kate has changed the pub back to what it's always been good at. Comfortable, cosy, good beer, pub food at reasonable prices, welcoming staff. A country pub with God.
Very good lunch good friendly Pub, excellent value for money, this is a small family business,good menu and the quality is always the same so no disappointments, food served all day, well worth a visit next to the Bus station
