Our hosts brought us here as the first stop on a five-location pintxo crawl. We had zuritos - a half glass of beer that's very Basque and perfect to wash down a couple of pintxos with. Colourful and creative with their food and as with so many places here, a great selection of wines by the glass.

For me the basque country is Spain - I know many locals would not like the headline. Calle de San Pedro is full of bars and restaurants. Crowdy inside and lots of people standing outside having wine, beer, tapas and pinxchos. I live it. It is authentic and very Spanish. At Ardoka we had great pinchos calamares and brocheta of... Crazy busy bar with great pintxos and wine by the glass. Salmorejo is stunning as is the platter of iberico ham.

Great rack ones de calamares. Probably pulpo. But they know how to prepare it fried which I have never had. Great selection of Spanish wines particularly rosados in a fun setting. Great staff easy casual ordering and selections. Don't pass up

We visited Ardoka Vinoteka having not been to such a restaurant before. They helped us with our choices of food and were really friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the food - duck, risotto, salad, croquettes and more plus a nice bottle of Rioja Crianza red and a chocolate fondant. This is a well run, enjoyable place to eat, right in... More

The mushroom croquette is so good. There's actual mushroom inside and it tastes amazing. We also had the squid ink risotto which was nice, pork ribs was pretty good and the fried squid portion was okay, nothing special.

Hondarribia has improved so much with the quality of Tapas - and Ardoka is one of the best. Imaginative and beautifully freshly cooked food with a fine selection of wine by the glass. We'll be regulars in the future.

We stopped at their wonderful outdoor winebarrels outside their little vinoteka a few times in two days. We found it to be the best place for outdoor tapas and wine, and the definite hot spot when we were here. Love it!

Nice pintxos place where delicious small pintxos are served at a high tempo. Staff very friendly, although they are working fast and hard. A bit noisy and hectic, but it gives the place its atmosphere. You can take your food outside on the street, where a few tables are available. However, it is in the middle of the main restaurant...
