We went here for the second time having visited last time we were in Sicily and again in June this year. The man who owns this shop is really helpful he told us a cheese that would go with the wine we were buying and always encourages you to taste different cheeses. He advises you which needs to be kept... More

The owner is so helpful. Great cheeses, bread, olive oil, salamis. One evening we were on our way to dinner only to find the restaurant closed. We went in the cheese shop and asked about the restaurant thinking we might be too early. He not only told us it was closed but directed us to 3 restaurants he knew were... More

The guy who runs this place is passionate about the produce he sells, informative and encourages sampling before buying. We purchased a variety of cheeses and cured meats and a rather good red wine - we were surprised at how inexpensive the total bill was !

Went in passing by the street and spent fifteen minutes looking around all this small shop's delicacies! The owner is very helpful and explains all you want to know about the products. And you can taste any cheese you might fancy as well! A cheese lover's dream!

Giorgio is an most accommodating shop owner. Very giving of his time and knowledge in English also. He is very passionate about the local products he carries. He also provides samples to help you make your selection. Quality wines, meats and cheese are to be had here. I highly recommend a visit to his Casa del Formaggio when in Modica.... More

This small shop is deceiving on the outside but once inside your senses come a live. This traditional spot is filled with cured meats, cheeses, spreads and marmalades, capers, pesto, liquors...and the famous chocolate from the area. The products are all of great quality and local, considering the quality they are not over priced. What makes this place very special... More
