At Antica Dolceria Bonajuto you can try endless flavours of chocolate before you buy any; in a town with many such stores this is certainly the most famous and probably the most popular chocolate shop so be prepared to queue! In all honest, I'm not...More

If you love chocolate, this is the place to satisfy your cravings! Just the aroma will draw you into the oldest chocolate factory in Sicily. Our Globus Tour stopped here to taste samples and view the tiny kitchen where the chocolate is made.

We enjoyed being the guest of Pierpaolo and watching how Chocolate is made from the Cocoa bean. Then tasting tall the many varieties of chocolate and a pistachio Canoli after dinner was the icing on the cake! Make sure you visit when in Modica

We decided to book into a tour. The shop is small and a little over whelming as it is so busy. If you can book into a tour come back at that time and it is such a great experience. Tour was €3 per person...More

Visited Modica on our tour of Sicily and despite being out of the way, was worth the drive. Tons of chocolate shops, but this one is the best!

Not sure if they clise mid-day. Most places do, however. If that happens, go across the street to restaurant Osteria dei Sapori Perduti. Great food at low cost. Menu is extensive with pictures of every dish! Don't miss the... More
