The fish was fried but still had scales, it was impossible to eat. The shrimps were also unclean. I would definetely not recommend.

This was our first stop on a week in southern Sicily. It was also the best food we had our whole trip. We didn't have any pasta dishes but we did have the best Fritto Misto the whole holiday. Also had fried fish with cod...which was also amazing. Arancini was tasty too! We were served quickly and well looked after. Andrea owns the place and you can tell he cares. Filled up quickly so luckily we got there before 8! The fried bread pudding with lime ricotta and Nutella tipped us over the edge but we got through it. Do not miss this place out if you're in town!More
Wonderful value for money. The fried pizza was a new experience and a real revelation. The salted cod and the mixed fried fish we're very good and the batter was light. Marvellous .
Great fresh fish and seafood from the fishmonger next to this pearl of Sicily. The owners could not be kinder and accommodating! The food is tasty, well cooked, the portions are fabulous! If you've never tried Sicilian street food or you just love simple, informal, and outstanding food in general then this is the place for you! Our group of four plus our driver/guide ate here twice during our four days in Modica and if we had...stayed longer we would have eaten there again - it was that good! Best Arancini we had in Sicily, fantastic mixed seafood, great "le pizze", and their specials are well worth trying. In fact everything we had there was outstanding. Chef Santina cooks all his very fresh food in his little open kitchen just inside their storefront (you can watch) and his charming, personable wife Andrea waits on their sidewalk tables and will happily explain/recommend the items on the menu. And if you get their seafood, see if you can talk to the fishmonger next door who provides their fresh seafood daily - he's a character and well worth meeting. Niria Fritt Food is a wonderful little spot for informal dining on good, classic, Sicilian street food - we highly recommend it and take some time to talk to Santina and Andrea - great people and they're very happy to talk about their passion for great food. It's worth the experience!More
