This is the kind of place you want to keep coming back to. Everyone is very welcoming. The coffee and chocolate are of the highest quality and you can get a great brioche with gelato or granita. We will miss this place.

We visited many cafes in Italy and this one is in the top league. We enjoyed wonderful cappuccinos, granites and pastries here.

Lovely cafe in central Modica. Lovely for a coffee during the day or drinks in the evening. Outdoor seating makes it an ideal place to watch the world go by.

We stopped for granita and gelato and they were both delicious. They serve a variety of drinks and desserts - great after sightseeing to cool down.

At all times of the day this cafe has everything you ever need. Brilliant ice cream, granite, bakery and staff. Try the latte de mandola- almonds.

Modica is a chocolate town... And one great way to sample it's particular delight is here, as an ice-cream. Choose one of the caffe's own, home made ones, or better still, three in a glass for €5 the lot. Honestly, it tastes so much better than the industrial varieties, there's no comparison. Plus, the wafers are homemade too, a kind... More

If you're like me, you have to try the local delicacies when you're traveling around Sicily. In Modica, that means you should try 'mpanatigghi, a pastry with almonds, chocolate and other rich ingredients, including beef. Yes, beef. There are several places to have great 'mpanatigghi. I chose Caffe dell'Arte, a lovely bakery with lots to goodies to tempt you. The... More

Great home made pastries and expresso. Their hot chocolate is out if this world especially topped with fresh whipped cream. You have to eat it with a spoon. The granitas are excellent as is their homemade cannoli. A great place for a mid day sweet and the service is excellent.

The Cafe del Arte is an upmarket chocolate shop where you can sample their wares without committing to a purchase however, the goods are so nice I doubt anyone can resist. If you want milk chocolate then you will be disappointed, this is chocolate for grown ups!

Wonderful warm people ( mom, dad, two sons plus others. Their daughters were there for Easter week.) fabulous pastries...but the real attraction is the lovely reception one gets each time.
