Welcoming, brightly lit and seemingly popular with locals. We shared a lovely risotto to start which as others say was very nice. Had to wait 15 mins for it which is a good sign! Subsequent mixed grill was just ok. However the real disappointment was the meatballs' finely ground mealy things in a watery tomato sauce. Friendly staff, but left... More

Lovely food, particularly the risotto. Good service and value for money. Right in the heart of the Centro Storico of Martina Franca.

Passing through Martina Franca in a rainy july day, a little ristorante saved our hunger and our clothes. Excellent food, made with passion (antipasti, pastas, the veal chop etc), a decent house wine and a good serving - that's all you can need from a Puglian cool lunch. Bravo!

A busy, friendly local gem, serving fresh, honest dishes at unexpectedly reasonable prices, in a charming room filled with a mix of young and old, families and dating couples. Also, a great location for after dinner walks through the heart of the old city.

Damned fine authentic local dining. Try the fave e cichoria. The local wine was also very good. Excellent.

Our host advised us to go to La Tavernetta and it was a good idea. The food was of a good quality and it was not expensive. The small mozzarella in the menu were not as creamy as expected but the penne all'arabiata were amazing!

Like most we stumbled on this restaurant. Had it been a warm day we would have missed it as it is quiet cave like. However it delivered what we hoped for local family run Italian. We only wanted a snack so had to pass on the huge anti pasta plates that many were ordering. We stuck with pasta which was... More
