We were told about this place by the B&B owner we stayed in. When we arrived to the restaurant we knew right away the owners care about their guests. After an excellent potato/bean soup we were presented with equally tasty tortellini with fungi and butterfly pasta with rosemary. With it we had a good local red wine. But the most... More

We happened on this restaurant as we were coming down from a beautiful drive over the mountains from Fiastra. Gabriele greeted us and showed us to a table on the terrace with a lovely view over the valley rowards Sarnano. He then sat with us and ran through what was on offer, explaining everything and making helpful suggestions. The starters... More

This Alpine-style restaurant sits below one of the main skiing areas of the Sibylline mountains outside Sarnano. There are lovely views from the terrace across the hilly countryside with their lush patchwork of forests and fields. The owners are a lovely couple with Gabriel front of house and most attentive whist his wife wield considerable skills in the kitchen. The... More

My family ate at the Osteria in early August 2015. We have 2 boys, 10 and 7, and we were welcomed with typical Italian warmth. Gabriel was a charming host and encouraged the boys to try new things. In the absence of a printed menu he explained what dishes were on offer with true passion. Food just kept coming and... More

I have had lunch and dinner several times at this osteria and I have never been disappointed. The food is excellent with good wine and water from the mountain. Very friendly and excellent English. Can't wait for my next visit.

Delicious home cooking. Would hae loved to sample more of the very interesting home cooked items we were offered but we were satisfied with sharing two different pasta dishes. The standout was a ricotta and spinach filled ravioli with artichoke sauce and bacon. Again the deserts were lovely. We tried a home cooked panacotta, one with fruits of the forest,... More

It was a Sunday early at noon. Following TripAdviser advice, we drove for two hours to get there, some of it on narrow country roads, to find it in mid nature. We have never been there, we knew nobody there, but we felt right away like we came for a family visit. Gabriel, the owner, spared no effort to explain... More

We've been a number of times and have always been impressed. This is genuine mountain cuisine - marche style! The owners are serious about what they do and will make you feel welcome and looked-after. Recommended.

Scherzi A Parte was recommended to me by a friend of mine who'd been once 8 years ago. It must have stuck out for him as a good restaurant so I made a note to go. I've been there a couple of times now and I think it has to be one of my favourite restaurants in Italy. The first time... More
