They were closed when I tried to have dinner there but on another day I had a pizza with tuna for take-away. The pizza was very good (a little thicker than ususally) and they put a special layer into the paper boksz to keep it...More
We had dinner for family of four. The restaurant was fairly busy around 7pm on a Saturday and seemed to have a few locals dining too. The scallopine were excellent and the service prompt. Pizzas looked huge.
When you arrive by train Luino, hungry and thirsty, you can drop in Sibilla. The people there set you at a table and you get a wonderful Italian pizza....
The same you can di when you leave Luino ;))
Had lunch there few days ago while in Luino shopping. Great "little" place where you are made welcome. We arrived at 13.30. The place was very busy but "Mamma" who seems to be in charge, made us feel welcome and managed very quickly to find...More
We travelled up from Laveno after reading the reviews on trip advisor and we were not disappointed. Pizza was fantastic very rustic, good size portions. The restaurant feels very Italian, the staff were friendly and the food came quickly. All round good experience.
We found this restaurant on TripAdvisor, when researching where to eat in Luino. We love it so much we have eaten at this restaurant on average, once a week (all summer). We have taken our friends and family, all of which have enjoyed and loved...More
Bikers; this should be the no.1 pitstop when racing along the lake Maggiore :-) This pizza dough is amazing. The pizza is served wih spicy olive oil and pepper. Staff is very attentive. Just the smell in this little old restaurant says it all.
No other Pizza dough has ever been better in 40 years! May the topics be more inovative or diverse but in regards to taste and price there is no better. Also try the Vitello Tonnato or the pasta, its all very good.
Maybe the rest of the card is ok but the calzone mozarella, ham and mushrooms was the worst one ever in my life. A big fat calzone with more than 300grams of mozarella. There was more dough than filling. Yuck..
Sibilla Pizzeria is one of those gems that have been under my nose for years, but just discovered. It's one of the best values in Lake Maggiore area, methinks. There's really a family owned atmosphere, with some of the friendliest service you'll find in Lake...More
