We stayed in Pyrgos apartments and this is the closest restaurant. Visited twice. First time, the meal and service was amazing. They happily changed the chips that accompanies their souvalaki to more salad and amazing Greek mashed potatoes. Waiter was very friendly and made us feel special and welcome. Shame 2nd visit not so good. Meal was ok and service... More

The view is marvelous, but food is poor. I ordered SPECIAL salad, so this is tuna salad with HAM, nothing special that should be served as special. We also ordered plate of starters, and for our surprise we got tuna from can, marinadet octopus (lots of acid), so taste wasn't money we paid. The best was natural juice and cucumbers.

Just great. We enjoyed here the food and our son the playground. It's perfect for families for romance dinners and for everyone who want's to enjoy the view. Great location.

We found this place whilst walking along the seashore and decided to have diner here one evening. We had shrimps and octopus, both fresh and both delicious. Unfortunately it was too windy to enjoy the beach, but even from the inside we could enjoy some good local food and the beautiful views. A good place to visit if you want... More

We visited this place in late April (so not the wild party scene this time of year) and had a fantastic meal and a lazy afternoon on the sunbeds at the seafront.

Had a lovely meal here and all was very fresh and tasty. The price was very good and the service was amazing.. Cannot praise this taverna enough. Put on your "to do" list while on the North coast of Crete (Malia)

I'm extremely particular about where I spend my time! The original awkward customer! Blue Sea Tavern with it's picturesque views of both the ocean and the mountains is ideally situated on an isolated, unspoiled coastline, far from the madding crowd. Here I can write my novels in peace and tranquility with top notch food and and superb service. This is... More
